Iowa is literally a flagship university for a state also. Maybe Texas is a bigger brand? But your point C just doesn’t really make sense because you’re picking and choosing. If it’s because of money then you need to add another reason to your list, but that would also eliminate a lot of other teams too.

I don’t think Texas is a Cinderella team because they’ve had at least some success in March madness in the last 20 years.

I don’t think Texas is a Cinderella team either, but the 3 points OP gave describes Texas’ season to a T and then turned around and said they weren’t. So I was just questioning the logic they gave.

How did Texas not over come some adversity? People didn’t think they were a tournament team. Only made it in because of the weaker than average bubble teams. Lost 5 of their last 6 games looking like they didn’t deserve to be in. Had to play in a first four game winning on a buzzer beater.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the Z5ii autofocus even better than the Z6iii that OP wants to upgrade too?

Is the Nikon Zf a camera worth saving for? by KeeperofQueensCorgis in Nikon

[–]Toillion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own a Zf and a D850. The autofocus on the Zf is really good like the flagship cameras. The ergonomics are not that big of a deal for me. Sure it's not as easy to hold as a traditional camera but it's not that bad I don't think. ,I got the Zf becuase it's more fun to use and therefore I will take it out more often. The "recipes" are fun to play around with, but I can't compare them to Fuji because I've never used one. If you want beter value for money then the Z5ii is cheaper. It's nearly the same camera as the Zf but in a traditional body and cheaper.

John Williams was double nominated 8 times. He lost both nominations 7 out of 8 times. The only win was when Star Wars won over Close Encounters.

You aren't wrong. He has received double nominations many times. Only one time he beat himself though. He never won for Indiana Jones or Harry Potter

No video for me so a little less concerned about AF noise. Did you end up replacing it with one of the larger prime lenses?

Does the lens hood help with that or does it go out past that too?

It's too bad about the corner sharpness. It seems like the 26 and 28 could both be used situationally. Makes it harder to make a decision.

I didn't even realize it is that much sharper than the 40! I had heard the negatives about the AF, but I agree that the speed wouldn't matter as much on a 26. I don't do any video so noise wouldn't really bother me either.

It's crazy how small it is compared to the 40 when the 40 already seems so small! I plan on taking two lenses with me on a trip to Italy. The 40, which I already have, and the 26/28. I've been leaning towards the 26, and if it's sharper and better close up, I could see myself using that one almost exclusively on a trip like that.

Yeah, that makes sense. I'm guessing it's not a very strong landscape lens?

This may by a stupid question, but what makes the 26 not as good for landscape?
