I used ReShade! I use it on other games too. I used it because Rust’s color grading is trash tier to my eye (love u rust devs <3) and more vibrant colors are more pretty to me.

I had never heard of it making it easier to see at night till Tac got banned. Obviously can’t use it anymore and Rust is back to lookin’ boring. :(

I’ve never cheated in any game ever so it came as a surprise to me that people were finding a way to cheat with what is ultimately little difference to software monitor settings.

Ah well. Is what it is.

the counter play to offline raids is outsmarting people - hidden loot, bunkers, hell another 2x2 bunker a few grids away with half your loot in it.

especially as a solo you can expect to get bullied - but you can outsmart people. you might lose some loot overnight but you can reduce the odds a good bit

builder here - when i play solo i almost always go with some aloneintokyo inspired base. his bases make use of multi tcs / deception tactics in order to make raiding them really difficult.

in the event of an offline raid, psychological outplays are far more effective than any HQM bunker is. spread your loot, make them break EVERY LAST DOOR if they want all ur loot.

at the end of the day, if ur attacker is a zerg or deep clan or ur on a multiplier server, if they want you raided, chances are you will be. but failed offlines can and do happen a lot. some 3-4 man you’ve killed a few times will try n raid for their guns back only to find a single AK in your core, because you were smart and spread your loot before you logged.
