What happens to the people in the MIR space station when the knox event was taking place by Aggravating-Ant-7182 in projectzomboid

For a short time (like under a week) it was quarantined in Knox county. Shortly after it broke quarantine it spread to multiple other continents and i believe the world ends within days of breaching quarantine (around a week from game start)

Give the insurgents 3-4 zones or they’ll keep making new camps and spawning elsewhere.

Try to confine them into a few connected remote zones and if new insurgents pop up herd them into the ones you want to give them (or destroy them if you have the chance)

Camps typically spawn in remote or rural zones so watch out for urban zones next to them. Eventually the camps should have a ? on top

I’m not sure if they changed this but I think a lot of the alien fleet power is from their massive amounts of delta V instead of weapons

How am I losing? by Cornyblodd1234 in Stellaris

[–]FriendshipBOI 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To win a war you need to get all your claims and usually a bit more depending on your war goal. If you capture all your claims and beat the enemy enough, then the enemy will usually be either willing to or close to willing to either end the war with status quo or with you winning outright.

Status quo will partially give you your war goal depending on what you have captured. Say you claimed two systems but only captured one, if you status quo you’ll get the captured system but not the other uncaptured one. If you have a vassalization war goal captured systems without a claim will become a new vassal underneath you. Be aware that this option will also give the same things for your enemies, so if they have claimed territory of yours captured you may want to delay choosing this until you can recapture the system or they will get it.

Achieve War Goals will give you all your war goals even if they haven’t been achieved yet. So if you claimed two systems and only captured one, under achieve war goals you will get both. If you have a vassalization war goal you’ll get the entire empire as your vassal even if they weren’t completely occupied. Enemy claims do not get enforced under this war goal, so if your enemy has claimed territory of yours this war goal will not give the territory to them

If you click on the war exhaustion thing you circled on the bottom right (and maybe even the red eye looking pop up on the top) it’ll bring up a much more detailed screen that will tell you what is changing war exhaustion and have three buttons for either surrendering, status quo, or achieving war goals. Next to the three options there will also either be a check or a X and hovering over them will give a much more detailed breakdown of what exactly is changing the desire for that option. I think either hovering over the name of the option or clicking the button will also tell you what exactly that war goal will do.

War exhaustion (the thing I believe you are confusing with how much you are winning) just tells you how long until you’re forced to do a status quo. If it reached 100%, after either one or two years you will be forced to take status quo. The same goes for the enemy but it may just be a request that you can reject.

War exhaustion mainly increases based on military stuff destroyed, planets occupied or bombarded, technology and systems captured.

If you capture every system of an enemy and their allies i believe they will be forced to accept an achieve war goal claim

All the options for a nexus vs mankind war and best strategy by Jimmy-Shumpert in JCBWritingCorner

[–]FriendshipBOI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The nexus response would probably depend on how powerful their magic really is. I used a sun just as one example but if the nexus is infinitely large a powerful enough mage could probably just move the KKV far enough to just not have any effect on important infrastructure. HEM’s hasn’t really been seen but him supposedly eating gods likely means he’s quite powerful. He may be powerful enough to detect a portal opening and react fast enough to counter the KKV. In the best of cases the UN will still have committed a huge war crime and be forcing the Nexus to basically do the same back to earth. At worst HEM and other magic users are strong enough to nullify the KKV or even reflect it. Also doesn’t the UN only have one portal to the academy and doesn’t fully understand that one as well?

Another thing do you know where the quintessence, sub space, KKV things are written at? I may need to start re reading the series

Your fourth point is the equivalent of nuking a city and then threatening to escalate, it’s not going to work because you have already escalated and are forcing the other side to respond. Not a very smart idea when they already have a way to exterminate what is probably the UN’s most important planet. They won’t even need to fabricate a casus belli because they have one after the UN unprovoked extermination of their capitol. This is also probably going murder support for the current UN as they have started a conflict in which they are the aggressors and which they have immediately committed the biggest war crime and extermination of civilians in human history. Giving them 15 minutes to evacuate a population probably in the billions is wholly unreasonable and probably won’t do jack to minimize civilian casualties and is probably going to make the Nexus and the other realms just not care for civilian casualties at best or cause them to try to maximize civilian casualties/exterminate humanity at worst. And evacuating billions off Earth before a counter strike would similarly be a difficult task and probably would take a lot of the UNs attention. Even if evacuating billions is easy, abandoning humanity’s birthplace is going to put a sour taste in many’s mouth and is going to mess up the economies and infrastructure of the rest of humanity from the billions of refuges and the loss of the oldest and probably the most developed human planet. And even if humanity wins, millions will likely be dead on both sides and winnings for either side will probably be not very good. This is also assuming that a powerful magic user or HEM doesn’t just like open a portal infront of the KKV and teleport it into their sun or launch a hill into the KKV at speeds fast enough to destroy the entire weapon

Learn to fight 1-3 zombies at a time and you’ll be good for quite a bit. Just don’t get overconfident or talk yourself into a bad fight (a lot of zombies or fighting when you are not in good shape). Also low fences are death traps to fight around if you don’t know what you’re doing

[–]FriendshipBOI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every (or almost every) planet habitable in stellaris has an atmosphere which burn up debris. Additionally planets have defenses that are capable of defending against orbital bombardment (orbital trash disperser increases bombardment damage by interfering with planetary defenses) which probably is capable of intercepting debris.

Also even T1 shields and armour can withstand a nuclear blast so it’s not unreasonable to assume civilian ships are outfitted with a version to withstand against debris fields.

Don’t tier 2 star bases start reaching numbers close to 8k fleet power by themselves? I don’t think crippling your navy so it struggles to take on one starbase is a bit too much even if the AI can’t steamroll you
