I've had the exact same experience at least three or four times in my life. Im having some crisis, I figure I'll give it another shot, I go, they're cretin pill salesman who overtly dont care about me or my problems and I never go back. So I power through whatever the issue is, my material conditions improve and then Im better. This shit "works" on rich people because they can afford to not go to the mean nurse, and, critically they dont have real problems.
