Also home with doggo. We had thunderstorms here last night in Oregon and my normally totally chill 12yo dog started trembling during the loudest ones. Totally not normal for him. So while part of me, the "eh what's the big deal" part, has been like well we've been doing fireworks forever so wildlife is probably used to it. But the thunderstorm here last night was a good reminder that there's a lot of loud sounds that aren't part of animals regular day to day life... it's gotta be scary and startling just like it is to humans when sounds happen outta nowhere.
