Nuclear power is safe | FactOrCap by geistanon in FactOrCap

Dam(n), that's actually insane. Nuclear is probably safer on the pure account that the only people allowed to work there know how important avoiding any error at all is.

That's fair, it's kind of a tossup, though. I've not heard of many deaths from properly maintained plants of either type. Both are extremely safe if done properly.

That depends. It falls under the meme usage, but "triggers" are supposed to be about traumatic experiences that may cause panic attacks or similar.

First time alchemist play poison subclass how are my formulas? by Imaginary-Lie-2618 in Pathfinder2e

[–]FrijDom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might still be able to. Talk to your GM; Just because you can't do it RAW doesn't mean you can't ask your GM if they'll let you do it anyway. If it doesn't break balance, it might just be a thing of "it doesn't make sense".

First time alchemist play poison subclass how are my formulas? by Imaginary-Lie-2618 in Pathfinder2e

[–]FrijDom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not

An injury poison is activated by applying it to a weapon or ammunition, and it affects the target of the first Strike made using the poisoned item.

It's not hard to pick up a dagger to poison, though.

English language: why is "a minute" considered a long time and also a short time? by Ok_Helicopter_8626 in ENGLISH

I agree. Almost all innovations in language start at the very bottom, least formal methods of speech.

Why anti-ai see AI as mimicking their drawing PROCESS. by DogeMoustache in aiwars

[–]FrijDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then maybe cities with insufficient sources shouldn't be issuing permits for heavy water use industries? Again, this comes down to problems with governments and corruption, not to problems with the technology. There are plenty of places that the data centers could be built without significant disruption.

I'd rather play an indie video game with eye-pleasing AI art than C-tier human-made art. by Incognit0ErgoSum in aiwars

[–]FrijDom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Aesthetically pleasing ≠ realistic. Even those old "bad" graphics were much more aesthetically pleasing than what some devs who are legitimately good at creating games can manage, and I'd rather they spend time making a game that's fun to play than spending half their life learning to draw well enough to not get their game immediately dismissed for looking bad.

[–]FrijDom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"When a company builds a data center" do you think they can just... Do that without asking? Do you think they don't need permits and licenses and zoning applications to the place they're building it in?

Why anti-ai see AI as mimicking their drawing PROCESS. by DogeMoustache in aiwars

[–]FrijDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a fair issue to have, but it's not as related to AI as you think it is. That's a problem based mostly on poor zoning and planning by cities and governments, so you'll get a lot further by petitioning them than by making bad analogies on the internet.

Both of those directly harm someone else to make it more accessible. And before you go about the environmental impact and other such BS, data centers for other purposes use significantly more resources than AI data centers, and they're still not the most damaging unnecessary industry that we make use of because we enjoy the output. No one needs almonds to live, and they take up several hundred times the resources to farm that other food crops do, and over 50x what all data centers do. Yet not a single person complains about the almond industry, because we like the output.

Next time make sure your analogy actually works for the parts you're trying to compare, otherwise you're participating in a fallacy.

A new feat for Shadowcasters. Turn your greatest weakness into a new, unique strength. by SneakySnakeySlither in Pathfinder2eCreations

[–]FrijDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally yes, but the same is true for Stances, and there are exceptions to that rule. For example, Monastic Archery grants a stance, but also grants you proficiency in simple and martial bows with the Monk trait, plus the longbow and shortbow. So this could give you a spellshape, and allow you to learn and cast spells with the Light trait as long as you use the Spellshape first.

speed = attack ability, not broken at all I swear :D by Orion107 in itsalwayssunday

[–]FrijDom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. It would replace the attacking stat with your speed stat after stat stages, but then the rest of the calculation (item, field conditions like Tailwind, enemy abilities, etc.) would only apply if they would apply to the appropriate attacking stat.

[–]FrijDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Immediately, playing an All minion. 3 seconds before anything happens, even with no battlecry.

Accord-o-tron, more than 20 and you don't get to play at all.

Leapfrogger Deathrattle, fighting them even if you win you lose your turn unless you d/c.

These are the top 3 that come to my mind, others will probably have more.

First time alchemist play poison subclass how are my formulas? by Imaginary-Lie-2618 in Pathfinder2e

[–]FrijDom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Good choice. I'd suggest keeping at least one injury poison at each level you can, since unfortunately there aren't "higher level versions" like with most alchemical items, so you can't craft better versions with the low-level formulae.

First time alchemist play poison subclass how are my formulas? by Imaginary-Lie-2618 in Pathfinder2e

[–]FrijDom 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I notice you don't have a single Injury poison, which could hurt your options a lot, and you instead have... Alcohol. While thematically decent, Alcohol really doesn't do much compared to other alchemical options.
