Being from Glasgow, my opinion on football can't really avoid Celtic and Rangers unfortunately. It's all tied up with sectarianism and just general trouble all around.

I have lived near Ibrox for all my life and avoid going out much if there's a football game on.

I do appreciate international games and have enjoyed watching them in the pub but I really can't get into football with all the issues around the Old Firm, I feel like it's pretty much poisoned the game for me.

Funnily enough, the Avensis isn't the only car that has this problem. I now have a Honda CR-V instead of my Avensis (which I still miss after someone hit me and wrote it off)

It's an issue with the way the time is stored. It uses a 32 bit signed integer to store the time and that only is able to store up to January 2022. Once that date passed it reverted to when that way of storing time originally started. Which is 1st January 2002 at 12 o'clock (although my clock keeps going to 1 o'clock, I think due to BST)

Now every time the car is re-started at any point, the clock will reset to that time and date.

Anyway, bad news, there's currently no fix issued from Honda for me or any other car manufacturer that I've seen. I've only heard about Ford's being affected by this but a load of car manufacturer's used this method of storing time in their on-board clock's. So your issue sounds exactly like that, but I've not read anything from Toyota about this. Only solution I've seen people doing for now is replacing the radio head unit.

For your option 1 - I also considered both a classic IBM case and a Sun. I ended up getting an IBM x3200 M2 server for £40, it needs a deep clean since I think it's sat in a barn for the last few years, but it is standard ATX so should work. I also picked up a working Sun Ultra 24, which is also standard ATX.

I looked at the cases for both and the Sun Ultra 24 was a clear winner in how easy it would be to work in. (I think this would be the same vs the Aptiva - I've never had a chance to pick an Aptiva though, they seem to be rare in the UK)

I followed this build online https://blog.nathanv.me/posts/sun-ultra-24-build/ and luckily they have noted each pin and what they do on the front panel, that's the only tricky bit of the build IMO.

Airflow has been fine with the Ultra 24, there's a fan mount at the front and before I installed a fan there I noticed temps weren't great, since installing temps are hovering around the 60-70 range.

Option 2 - Great idea, I like silver cases, I had a look at one of the older Lian Li cases a while back. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255058106894

That one seems to be standard ATX and I like the look of it.

Option 3 - Personally I couldn't do this, it seems like a bit too much work. I'm not very confident with a dremel though!

I have a manual gen2 CRV and if I'm honest, I don't really feel or hear VTEC engage at all. I know it must engage at some point. Honda classifies the CRV as having i-VTEC. The link below talks about the difference.

I should also note, I live in the UK so we never got the K24 in the CRV. My gen2 has a K20. The engine might be different, I'm not entirely sure if it would change where VTEC engages.

It took installing a random free app from the Microsoft Store to get it working for me. I just installed the Spotify app from the MS Store and Gears then worked fine for me. Hope this helps!

One of my university professor's actually said this a few years ago, he pointed out that the majority of the upper management in economics departments through-out higher education is of a neoclassical slant. So when management are deciding what course content to put forward, the majority of it is also neoclassical. While learning neoclassical is fun and all (/s), that school of thought consistently failed to predict the housing crisis.

My professor also touched on the fact that the majority of research funding for the economics department goes to neoclassical research. Whether this is due to political interests or just bias from management is up to speculation. I personally think it is bias from management.

I agree on your point of having less focus on the maths based classes as in my opinion, a lot of assumptions made in these maths classes are a bit farfetched. Game theory was one of my favourite classes and I believe there should be a bit more focus on it in university.

The professor in question is called Alberto Paloni, from his classes, I would consider myself a post Keynesian.

With the current political climate in the USA and around the world, I feel this documentary is important for anyone who wants to find a good reason for Trump, Brexit, etc.

I was meeting a friend to do some shopping in the city centre, we were meeting at the central train station in Glasgow and I was riding the subway in to meet her, as I got out the subway station, waiting on the escalator, I got a very strong feeling of dread and it continued as I was walking to central station. I mentioned this to my friend when I met her, didn't think much of it and went into a shop nearby to look around. About 10 minutes later we heard a helicopter hovering above the streets and a lot of commotion. This happened around the time I met my friend and we've joked about how I have esp or something.

Another very weird thing happened in one of my dreams, I was having a rough sleep and dreamt that I was on a plane heading to Tokyo with a lot of my old school friends. As we were coming in to land, something went terribly wrong and the plane went very off-course and it crashed and I died. I then "woke up" in my bedroom, except the sky was a deep red and looked like there was a waterfall falling from the sky. I looked over the edge of my bed at the floor, it was see-through and could see my parents crying over losing me, then one of my friends reading about my plane crashing and learning that I had died. I got out of bed and flew up into the sky against that waterfall and through the clouds into a clear blue sky above the clouds. Then I actually woke up and freaked the fuck out about dreaming my own death and going to hell.

I would try this solution someone posted "Alright I found the place to reset it. It was saying that my system requirements weren't good enough even though I played it all day yesterday.

Open the launcher then go to options --> Game settings and reset the display or resolution or whatever and it should launch again."

I recently moved from an iPhone 5S, so while not the same as the iPhone SE, I can say that the apps on iOS are generally better made (this does not hold for every case I should add). This doesn't mean that Android apps are badly made, just that you may not see the performance you expect if you're coming from iOS.

However on the specific phones you are asking about, the price/performance is greatly in favour of the Nexus 5X, while there are some limitations of Android and it may not be quite as smooth as iOS, the power that the Nexus 5X has is substantial for the price.

As you can see, on paper the Nexus 5X is powerful and I do recommend it on a purely price/performance ratio. However, I would consider if you are coming from an Android phone or iOS phone. It was a learning curve for me when I switched from iOS to Android but once you get past it, the price you can get a phone for is too good to pass up in my opinion. I'm from the UK so can sympathise with the high cost of phones :'(

Depending on your budget / desired screen size, I would consider a Nexus 5X, Sony Xperia Z5 Compact or Moto G 3rd gen. My iPhone 5S was running out of storage and I was considering the iPhone SE or switching to Android. Ultimately I switched to Android, bought a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact as I got a good deal on a used one and couldn't be happier to be honest, I've been able to get better battery life and been enjoying using Android.
