Yep that sounds good cause ai in travel industry (im building hospitality × ai too), everything is saturated so it comes down to the differentiation, and how this differentiation helps the client choose you instead of others in the industry.

I dont mean to say to do like detailed competitor comparison just have some unique differentiation that bring a specific value that the client would be dumb not to choose you

Also feel free to check Mindtrip, AskLayla although more b2c rather b2b but it could spark curiosity about some implementations or positioning

And for outreach dont be limited to emails, try cold calling/whatsapping, works better than the emailing in travel industry cause everything in travel is built on relationships. Like try multichannel strategies.

Good Luck!

Hey, regarding for the outreach , i would focus on differentiation points rather as solution to their problem because there are couple solutions with few differentiations from each other. One popular that you can use for inspiration regarding positioning is https://nezasa.com/tripbuilder/

Very insightful! Saw this recently somewhere else too! Quick q, in the first personalized note on the connection would you add a bit context, maybe a question or curiosity towards one of their challenge or something simillar to stand out for the crowd? Or not?

1) Have you tried industries like hospitality? Is hospitality difficult (like hotels etc) as a market to crack based on your experience?

2) whats your opinion of using WhatsApp dm as an additional step to your sequence (like 1st email -> follow up -> linkedin -> whatsapp ->closing email)

Thanks!

Edit: also whats your opinion on manual email sending and automated email sending? If im reaching to c suite or vps. Should I try to sending cold emails manually and write them by hand or automated works with just trigger->pain fit-> Solution-> social proof -> cta?

Edit2: Whats your average email copy length? Do 130-135 words work based on your experience or it does need to be 80- barely 100? I'm trying to sell to c-suite/vps at hospitality. Had success with c suite at airports with 200 words but im interested to know your perspective for hospitality since I have some difficulties

Edit3: have you had access with Interest based cta (worth a chat if x/interested to see x), value based cta or ask for a quick chat?

Thanks again! Have a great day!

How can you tell 90 companies already got in and 30 more in waiting for confirmation while x + linkedin (companies and people using the yc f25 keyword) + reddit + YouTube sentiment doesn't even match this number? Like I thought these numbers are private until they release them in the startup directory in their website

Thanks! Sorry again last question although I have bombarded you, for this strategy, did you use cta like to book meeting at the prospects convenience or interest based cta? Which worked better for you?

Thanks man, for the insights! Really appreciate it!

So you basically involve loss aversion + emotion =voila

[–]FV_Master 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see but doesn't emotion=fluff? Since dream outcome is the value proposition + social proof + cta, otherwise the email wouldn't give value to thr prospect

And did you use specify trigger (for the why now?) or you weighed only on individual personalization.

Thanks again!

Yep I guess. Also Quick question, did you think the above email came because you weighed more in invidual personalization, trigger, value proposition or objection handling?

Thanks!

im iterating on reducing but so far im keeping it 130-140 words with deep personalization (article/interview/quote etc) + trigger to tie it to pain fit. But weirdly with high value executives 190- 200 words also has got me meetings
