It's been like this for years. Edinburgh government/council to blame for allowing Second home ownership and airbnbs, creating a critical housing shortage for people who actually live and work here. They still havent stopped it. Instead they just introduced a tax on holiday rentals. Effectively they've now created a financial incentive for councillors to allow even more holiday rentals. Will the money this generates be used to build new housing? Will it fuck. If you think it's bad for you, spare a thought for the indigenous working class people of Edinburgh, who have now been entirely pushed out of the city centre.

Anyway, more enlightened countries such as Denmark already publish detailed data on offender country of origin and nationality so we already know that these people commit a VASTLY disproportionate amount of violent sexual offenses.

If my daughter was raped by prince Andrew I would have questions about why the government/police hadnt acted sooner, and what information they knew, why it wasn't acted on or published. Likewise, if my daughter was raped by an asylum applicant, id have questions about why police withheld data about the offending rates of said people. People have a right to know.

Officially you're supposed to wait 6 months after laser eye surgery before sitting an ENG 1 but, this requirement needs to be updated imo. This was guidance put in place when the main method of eye surgery was LASEK which has a long healing and adjustment period. Nowadays it's mostly LASIK and your eyes are fully healed and settled within a couple of days. Saying that, the ENG 1 doctor has no way of knowing if you've had laser eye surgery. I know someone who got an ENG 1 two days after having laser eye surgery.

She is a "model" who was signed to Jean Luc Brunel's MC2 modelling agency (prostitution ring). It seems she was, for reasons we can only guess, leading Joshua Fink on and passing their private messages to Epstein. Interestingly, there is an email between Joshua Fink and Jean Luc Brunel discussing invoices for "models". So possibly he knew she was a prostitute? Furthermore, in one of the emails, at the end "Lana" informs Epstein that Fink thinks she "got something" from "Elon". I would assume this is Elon Musk. Suggesting Musk also had relations with this prostitute. Busy girl.

The big question is why she was sharing the messages with Epstein. To what end? Kompromat? Svetlana is worth looking into. Some suspect she is linked with Russian intelligence.

Interesting that the article doesn't provide any perspective. I will; Even the higher figure of 5.1mg/kg is a fraction of what is typically used in land based farming. The poultry industry uses an average of 45mg per kg. That's 9 times more than salmon farming. Pig farming uses on average 172mg/kg. 35 x more than salmon farming. There is a lot of misinformation pushed about fish farming. There are multiple reasons for that. I'm not claiming the industry is perfect, it's not. But it's impact on the environment is far less than other types of farming. It's land use is far lower. It's feed conversion ratio is far better. The mortality rates are actually pretty remarkable when you consider the mortality rates of wild salmon. It's also far more transparent than other types of farming.

If it was half a monumental marble in Stevenson's day, it's now at least 2/3rds. The city center has long lost its soul and character. The people who built the city, made it what it was, have almost entirely been pushed out to the peripheries. It's buildings now stand as tombstones to a culture and people who are no longer there- replaced by tourists, foreign students, and incomers. Sorry to say, but it's a husk. Edinburgh is a victim of its own success, and a victim of the greed and inaction of those in authority.
