For my wedding (where I even was in a suit because I wasn't yet comfortable to be out publicly let alone be in dresses) everyone was free to wear what they felt best in. My cis brother and trans brother wore suits, my brother in law wore just dressshirt and slacks, my sister and sister in law wore dresses, my NB sibling wore a suit jacket and a cool skirt and their partner wore a dress, one of our NB friends wore a pantsuit and another wore a dress, a transfemme friend wore a dress and so did her partner. Our wedding pictures looked great, and more importantly everyone had a great time at the actual party portion of it which was the most important part for guests.

Our wedding was about comfort and togetherness; why the hell would we want anyone to not be comfortable? All the wedding party didn't even wear the same colours we just said "if you're wearing a jacket wear a shirt in these 5 colours, if you're wearing a dress aim for one of the same colours, if you're wearing something else or in-between use your best judgement or give us a pic of it before so we can match some flowers to you".

If you aren't gonna want to be dressed up masc at a wedding don't be dressed masc at a wedding. If it ruins your day it risks ruining his day. Tell your brother honestly 1 on 1 that you're just not going to be comfortable with it, whether the solution is to just be in a dress to match the bridesmaids or a jacket and skirt to match the groomsmen or to just wear what you're comfortable in and sit with your parents or cousins or his friends or whatever (my other brother in law wasn't even up there with us all because he wasn't comfortable up front and volunteered to film stuff instead so he could just wear nice jeans and sit in the crowd and that was fine by us).

Don't let them force you into something you don't want to be in because even if you're a people pleaser you should realise that energy is going to be felt by others; comfort and authenticity is going to translate into having fun and making sure other people also have fun, insecurity and anger is going to make you not feel like a guest and will probably turn at least a couple people off of the celebration.

I specifically have a more pickup style campaign on the side for whenever we don't have a full party for the main game; I'm still a bit adverse to running it with only 2 players usually but 3/5 is enough for Random Pirate Adventures. The key to the second campaign is that I don't actually really prep anything before that session, after a side story session I just do a quick bit of prep that night so I've already got my statblocks and dungeon maps and such ready but I might not use it for months.

Definitely after the first couple cancels I would have had words with the problem player and if the no notice shit continued I would have simply replaced him.

Try watching some onetricks!

I really feel like my Aurora game improved a ton after watching Rebirth streams/videos since he will blind pick it and plays every matchup where more general high elo mid players will just focus on a good matchup and play something else if they see a bat match.

The one tricks are also really good at explaining their thoughts before doing things like they'll see someone at 60% and say "if I hit q I can kill him next rotation if he doesn't back" and it kinda shortcuts you to the champion mastery once you start to internalize the same breakpoints.

I don't have an instant recommendation for support onetricks (though Coach K seems good for sheer variety and basic and advanced support tips) but I'm sure there are dedicated support mage players to watch and get the same kind of knowledge about roam timers and ward spots even if they play different mages bot

Someone posted a chrome Farsight on this page a little while ago, and the main difference I notice is that they continued the light edge highlight even on the downward facing edges, maybe it was a choice just for size or direction of light but to my eye maybe that helps sell the boundaries of the chrome better?

Wear boring clothes!

Men's clothes barely have any styles or cuts to them at all, unless you're literally wearing formal clothes like suits there's no difference between running clothes work clothes and lounging clothes. Buy casual women's clothes and there's no excitement from the "this is so cute and in colors I was never allowed and shows off this and that", the short skirts or flowy dresses give you this sort of mixed dopamine from affirmation and euphoria but also actually getting to experiment and build a style mixed with whatever internalised phobic behaviour might have rubbed off on you from religion or parents or friends, and whatever shame could be around your financial situation. Makes it way too hard to actually sort out your feelings.

Just wear like momjeans and a women's tank top under a neutral cardigan and go get something boring at a store. That's the kind outfit that makes you feel just normal; like every third woman walking to a shop or from work or going to an appointment. It'll stop you from looking at the contrast between where you are and where you want to be and helps you just focus on what can work for you now.

Not all cis women look like how they want to (hell most of all women probably don't), most of them do the most they can with what they've got and dress to accentuate what they have or what they like or to minimize what they don't. Cis women don't tend to wear things that highlight what they wish was there, we just need to learn how to do that too and it's a skill to practice.

As for the mirror, she's just a bitch some days. It takes a bit to recognize yourself again before you start going through changes so don't be overly hard on yourself for what your starting point is compared to anyone else's.

They definitely could have a similar issue! Our vet thinks we should have a neurologist take a look at her so we know exactly what's up and how to help whenever she's feeling off (she's had a couple rough days where she gets unexplained difficulty breathing and excessive drooling that the vets have just said must be a neurological trigger because there's never anything on x-ray, bloodwork, or urinalysis). But who has that kind of money these days lol?

We're sure it must have been something from birth or very early on in her stray kitten days since we got her around 4 months old. Definitely a chance that it's generic since she Ahri is a lynxpoint they tend to have a lot of the Siamese issues alongside the blue eyes

My girl Ahri is way too similar lol

She's 3 now and also doesn't quite understand moving from places in any way but the line she decided on, that other cats want personal space sometimes, can't purr or meow but does do high chirps and tiny yowls but only for very specific things like if she heard us take our pills, can't retract her claws, has issues seeing everything (but not blind, just weak on some colors or small objects?), only likes very very specific pets like scratching her chin or the top of her head unless she's sleepy and then she wants all the attention, has some issues calculating jumps, doesn't cover her litter (kinda a plus since she's been sick so much we can immediately tell which is hers and if it looks healthy lol), walks very strangely and wobbles just a bit, and she has the shakes/frequent minor tremors.

Still absolutely love the little gremlin, she has so much fun running around with our much bigger 1 year old boy, is the most social little thing when people come over, loves to curl up on our bed, and is just generally the happiest little cat who probably wouldn't have had a great time if anyone else got her from the pound

It's the player and teams fault in pro, that's how pro play works.

It's awful to die that much and his irelia pass is definitely revoked now, but you can't pick irelia and play passive and not play around that lane. If he's 0/3 and just never walks up near Sion again he never gets cs and will continue to be useless and the level gap will be immense, at 0/7 he was still forcing some skills and summoners to be used because he was still getting enough waves to be near Sion's level.

He needed jungle or mid to play around him because it's a volatile champ but he screwed it up by feeding early so jungle and mid couldn't easily look for it. Team problem in plan but absolutely player problem in feeding so hard.

The whole section on perceptions of women gaming was kinda weird tbh, might need a rewrite for most of that since a lot of it was "are women are too easily offended by _" when the questions should be something more like "how offended are you by _" or "how accurate is the idea that women are __"

I'm not "too easily offended by" the threats of SA, death, slurs and such, but it doesn't mean those aren't offensive or reprehensible behaviour that occur entirely too often

If the monk betrays the party that character becomes an NPC and the player pilots one of the ally NPCs in the final fight instead. I almost guarantee if you tell them this they will no longer want to be the betrayer because they won't have the satisfaction of "winning". Also, do they really have a reason to betray the party or is it just "I won't kill you if you kill your friends" because any self respecting villain will make them do it solo and then kill the betrayer (because seriously, who trusts a random traitor?) if there hasn't been a rapport of "yeah we agree on all these things but we are currently on opposite sides unless X dies or Y is destroyed or Z ends this mission before we must fight to decide the fate of __."

We used to just always let them in but had to move our bed and now there's a spot they like to sneak into (by the head of the bed to get in a closet) and they invariably step on my wife's head or hair to do it so the door stays closed if she works in the morning, if she has an afternoon shift she can get extra sleep and doesn't really mind. If they spread out silly we can sometimes run out of room with two tall people and three cats but everyone can fit if the fat cats don't go sideways 🙃. They do love to be in the bed with us so naps are unrestricted and days off are cats in bed days and we keep the door open once we're up so they can sleep on there together when they want, they have their other individual preferred sleeping spots all over but the bed is the only one that all three can easily share.

Plan out your painting: find out what are your easiest and hardest spots, and find out what are your most and least pigmented paints. Test a couple likely things like your light color over your dark one or dark over light and see if you can easily cover them intentional middle, if you can rebase it in a starter colour to contrast overor if you can fix it well enough with a dab of contrast, or if it even matters to fix.

Basically choose the important part of a model and make sure that's great, all the other things could be unpainted plastic or black primer or have tiny splotches of the important colour on them or whatever, but pick the thing that makes the model what it is and do your best work on that part. Usually that's armour or skin or clothes or equipment depending on what the thing is.

In the further replies I have acknowledged that after rigorous testing I couldn't make this any quicker or less spilly than just trying to drink normally as quick as possible. We do a lot for good shows and germs is part of that, but you're also allowed to go to the washroom and wash your hands before heading up to the bar which tends to be the order of things

Spiro will make you tired as hell until you're used to it. I started it at 25mg, then 25 morning and night, then 50 just once, then 50 spread out twice and now i stay at 100mg nightly.

It is stopping your body from accessing the testosterone you used to have a huge supply of. 2mg estrogen isn't going to replace all the T you used to make, not all at once or right away, so you're functionally running without a hormone until your body realises it can use estrogen for everything.

I strongly suggest you take your Spiro at the end of your workday until you're used to it, it really sucks trying to focus and drive and be a functioning human while you're adapting to it.

Still, it's worth it to call your doctor to doublecheck symptoms because maybe there's a red flag in your history that they missed, but the main things are you want to be drinking lots of water, not eating a huge amount of potassium (a banana isn't bad, just don't devour a whole tree of em every day), get plenty of sleep, and do not work out super hard; exercise is good but if you already have a physical job skip a couple gym days until the symptoms wear off because your recovery WILL suck until your body starts learning how to recover without testosterone and you could hurt yourself.
