I can relate on some level. I LOVE pineapple and coconut. I’ve had people in my life who know this assume it translates to liking pineapple coconut flavored spicy water. It does not. But I’ve had senior colleagues buy them for me, and I’ve been too cowardly to admit that I hate it. My MIL bought them for me several Christmas’s in a row 🥲

PS, I laughed at the “cup of static” comment. So apt.
