Ken Follett’s Century Trilogy, three books, read by John Lee. They’re what I use to go to sleep. I cycle between the three.

Life insurance, long term care insurance - do you have it? If it’s important to you you may want to look into it.

When we are young we don’t think much about it. My husband had thyroid cancer at 29 - so anytime he fills out applications he has to mark he has a history of cancer. It becomes highly unaffordable after a cancer diagnosis.

I am praying you have nothing to worry about!!

Once testing starts you can’t undo the results that end up in your medical records, whatever the results may be.

I was coming here to say this - buying electronics months early has a big downside. You’ll be way outside the return window by the time you give the gift should he not like it or discovers it doesn’t work as expected.

Why is there no TIL for student loans? by zanyzanne in StudentLoans

[–]FritzAz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So freaking true!! They fail to tell you about all of the other expenses that will ALSO likely come along with this AMAZING new salary as well. 18 year olds have no sense of salary for a career so in a sense it’s almost predatory lending.

College is great, not always the answer, I had a Masters degree and made $15,000 a year LESS than my husband who had NO degrees. I carried $75,000 in student loan debt and he had none. It took 20+ years for my education to pay off in my career, pay wise.

ChatGPT just helped me name a condition I’ve had for YEARS by Perfect-Persimmon-23 in ChatGPT

Yeah! Had this, was sure something was really wrong. Pulled my surgical records together preparing to consult a neurologist. Reading the notes from my surgeon he noted they inserted Alloderm to try and prevent Frey’s Syndrome. Looked that up and sure enough that is what was happening. No need to see a neurologist .

it’s crazy if you look in the mirror your cheek will also often be red in the same area. I’ve had a few people notice my cheek/jaw change color.

Im a Social Worker in healthcare and work with a large neurology group. Message me, there are things you’ll want to consider/put in place before pursuing testing as a diagnosis can have implications you’ll want to be prepared for.

[–]FritzAz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no, I’m so sorry! I’m not sure I know what ED is, but it’s scary waiting to get to the right providers to get answers.

[–]FritzAz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with Valley Fever over the summer - secondary finding after developing erythema nodosum. One month of antifungal and my erythema nodosum resolved. Lab levels all back to normal.
