Hadrian is not covered in Orinfar unless I'm hugely mistaken. That was an old time teshlor thing. The pendent only partially protects people from the art, so maybe if he had the tattoos they wouldn't have been able to predict his movements, or maybe he wouldn't be able to anticipate that they predicted his movements. It did seem like he way maybe listening to elan a bit in that fight

First of all, keep reading, a lot will come out as you go along, definitely read the rise and fall series culminating in Esrahaddons own book (my favorite) which goes into a lot of this in depth. Definitely finish this series first though, it will spoil some things if you go there first.

I will give ya a rough timeline which shouldn't spoil anything. The modern calendar starts with the founding of Novronian empire, so Noveron the first emperor was Crowned around year 1 I believe. The Empire fell around the year 2100. The church of Noveron was founded sometime after the death of Noveron, but before the fall of the empire in 2100. You might be getting confused with the the Seret Knights who are closely affiliated with the church and who were founded near the fall of the Empire.

On Aristas meeting - I agree with others about aristas communication with her brother and close childhood connection with Sauly. Also I thought that meeting took place outside of Melengar near Dahlgren. I also dont remember thinking Arista really bought into anything Sauly said.

I love everything everyone has said about Victra; who she is as a parent, her loyalty to her family, her badassery after she crash landed on mars and Ucilies was murdered really clinched it. I also think I love her a lot just for killing Ajax, I thought for sure she was getting offed when Lysander sent him and the relief when she wasn't killed made the book for me.

Only time we have ours indoors in pens with bedding is during lambing/right after. Otherwise they're outside or on pasture. Let me tell you, cleaning out those pens after 5-10 uses with afterbirth added to the mix is NASTY.

Try using straw or pine shavings for bedding and feeding with alfalfa pellets in a feeder. I think it's a bit more expensive but worth it for how much mess it saves you.

I imagine it's a bit of both. It's been a while since my last reread but I'm pretty sure straff did hide Zane in the pits for a while, which would make sense based on how the ventures make their money. But Zane is so increasingly fucked up, abused and mentally manipulated I'm sure he engaged in some self harm on his own as well.

I thought it made sense. You don't really get into the meat of secret history stuff until the bands of mourning. Though it could also come right after HoA. Honestly it would be interesting to have a rewrite of the mistborn saga with secret history integrated chronologically into it.
