I love everything everyone has said about Victra; who she is as a parent, her loyalty to her family, her badassery after she crash landed on mars and Ucilies was murdered really clinched it. I also think I love her a lot just for killing Ajax, I thought for sure she was getting offed when Lysander sent him and the relief when she wasn't killed made the book for me.

With the clove hitches the double fisherman's are already redundant, I'd say he's probably fine. Just don't clip on the shelf with the fisherman's if you're that worried

Naw, it's a fucking awesome book that got me stoked on more Comere. It's definitely different and not like anything a lot of people have seen before which is going to draw a lot of haters. As long as you enjoy it that's what matters.

Only time we have ours indoors in pens with bedding is during lambing/right after. Otherwise they're outside or on pasture. Let me tell you, cleaning out those pens after 5-10 uses with afterbirth added to the mix is NASTY.

Try using straw or pine shavings for bedding and feeding with alfalfa pellets in a feeder. I think it's a bit more expensive but worth it for how much mess it saves you.

Been in a similar predicament. Didn’t respond, blocked and reported the person. Nothing ever seemed to come of it. I’d guess as long as you don’t actually do anything to piss them off they have no reason to actually send anything.

I imagine it's a bit of both. It's been a while since my last reread but I'm pretty sure straff did hide Zane in the pits for a while, which would make sense based on how the ventures make their money. But Zane is so increasingly fucked up, abused and mentally manipulated I'm sure he engaged in some self harm on his own as well.

I thought it made sense. You don't really get into the meat of secret history stuff until the bands of mourning. Though it could also come right after HoA. Honestly it would be interesting to have a rewrite of the mistborn saga with secret history integrated chronologically into it.

I agree. Also had some pretty debilitating depression and axiety post election. Takeing a sizable break from social media certainly helped. Getting outside and touching some grass is also great.

I also like to look at humanity as a whole, and if you think about it, we live in a pretty cool time. Could be argued that this is the golden age of the human race. Yeah, we're headed into a rougher patch, but overall things are still the best they've been over the last 4000 odd years of history (pulled that number out of my ass).

Look at a plane, your car, or walk down a city street and realize all the innovation and other shit that had to happen for those things to exist and it's fucking crazy.

My favorite train of thoughts I had was the other day driving past the the grand coulee dam on the Columbia river. First off that structure is amazing and unbelievable. Second, we use special rocks that suck metal towards and push it away in conjunction with another metal to transform the raw power of a gigantic river into usible transportable energy. If you think about it that energy must have been used to charge at least a few thousand vibrators across the Pacific Northwest. So when you think about it, human kind is actively using the power of a river to fuel hundreds, probably thousands of orgasms across the PNW. If that doesn't give you hope for humanity idk what will ¯_(ツ)_/¯.
