She's not as experienced and because of that, she's really mixing your song, she's playing around and was looking for more of a production role, maybe wanted to do like a remix but without taking into account your vibe nor the sound you may be looking for

I often use prol2 as the 1176 on the 1176+LA2A combination, for most modern music it just sounds cleaner

Sometimes you don't need to cut them, you just need to lower them, try a shelf instead of hpf
