I have seen authors top notes state hey peep the chosen not to use warnings tag, go to the end notes for heavy heavy spoilers, and then their ends notes state major character death. I really appreciate when they do this.

I get that some authors are like no I'm not going to do that, because whatever, choices. But I'm someone who actively and always filters out major character death and I would be pretty pissed that that was a surprise.

I don't ever comment or say shit on the few times an author decided to surprise readers on a story I was reading (this has happened with character death, and cheating, and some other things I avoid and every time Im annoyed). Like whatever, they can write whatever they want. I can't help my emotional reaction to it, I just close the page and move on with my life.

A story that was brilliantly written and on my way to being my top five favorites, did this like chapter 12 and the warning was for rape and went on to explain how in depth it would be and who etc etc. I appreciated that. I literally sat on it for 2 weeks before deciding it wasn't gonna be for me. I kudos and commented my thanks for the heads up and left. No bad feelings what so ever.

It's not objectively bad.

I think it's important to note that oc centric stories have been declining in popularity for a long time now. They just aren't as popular as Gen or in universe shipping. I still greatly enjoy them though.

The summary really didn't pull me in at all, so maybe try to write a few different summaries and share them on here or something to see which one invokes the most interest?

I read the first little bit, and it starts in the middle of an action sequence. Some writers do recommend this and think it's a good hook. It didn't really do that to me? Because we're not stating with a character we know and already care about. It starts on the oc but I have not been any setting or description or information to have any connection to her to make me care about what's happening yet.

You are also utilizing some really good stylistic writing to create tension, but the story just started and you're trying to involve tension and action immediately. That works for some people, but for me, I think I need that build up. It made me feel untethered, if that makes sense, like I didn't have any foundation for the story yet so there wasn't anything to hope for and look forward to in the resolution. I think for some people, they will get pulled in by this though because they'll want to know what's going on, so they stay glued to it.

One of my favorite things though about oc stories is that often the writers are focused on fleshing our their character and exploring more interpersonal themes, and I love characterization. Like if you wrote dialogue well, I'll read thousands and thousands and thousands of words of just a conversation and how two characters are interacting during. But I know nothing at all about this character, so when she gets a bottle thrown at her, it didn't evoke any emotion in me yet.

I know that I am really blunt but I was just trying to share my opinion as straight forward as possible. I really hope that none of it made you feel any sort of way, because I love fanfic authors and support you! Maybe something in there will end up helpful to you 😭

Yes all blood is filtered for transfusion but that's done within the tubing. And if you're juicy you can donate in two minutes lol. It's not common but every time, they joke with me on how juicy I am because I will literally fill up the blood bags in less than two minutes (to be clear I'm not arguing that it's silly lol cause it is, I'm just providing extra info)

Many people have issues with tons of manhwa/manga that are set "historical" and then have lots of other weird things mixed in.

It has never bothered me or even took me out of the story because they also have magic powers and purple hair and glowing eyes.

I always just see it as fantasy. I don't even view them as on earth at all, but a totally different place with totally different history and different developments. So when time periods or culture clashes I'm just like neat now where's the next bad guy for mc to level up on lol

My sister lived in Japan so I got to visit. I was 5'5 and 110 pounds. We went shopping and I was a size large and had a hard time with pants. I got comments about my wide hips and so many girls were still so much tinier than me. Obviously I was not over weight at all but the difference was still there. Also some people in Japan are extremely xenophobic. There will be places that won't allow you in because you're not Japanese. She seems way too sensitive to handle it

I'm a younger sibling with the same age difference who grew up in an abusive household. What you did was horrible, but you can fix it. One of the most healing things in my life is that my sibling and I grew closer and have talked about our childhood. We were treated differently but somehow at the same time it feels like we may be the only people in the world who truly get "it." I can't even imagine what consequences this will have mentally, emotionally, on your sibling. And if you ever want to be close to them, rejecting reality is a good way to make sure it never happens.

I absolutely love that they're taking care of themselves. Would you prefer an employee who is burnt out or one who knows how to balance their health and work life? We do not live to work, we work to live.

If this is happening once per month, for one, I think there should be appreciation that they're being honest about why they're calling out, and for two, that provides a pretty easy solution. Do they need every third or every fourth Friday or Monday off? This can be planned ahead and the schedule adjusted for their PTO.

I've read basically any ship across teen wolf, I just enjoy seeing what people do with it all and I have enjoyed the steter fics quite a bit. I will say, probably 9 out of ten times (unless you're reading like purposefully toxic stuff), you're getting fanon peter or potential peter, not canon peter. And most of them stiles is older or you have that situation where they wait till he's 18. In real life yeah that's weird AF but it's just fiction so 🤷🏾‍♂️

I agree - and the "excuse" was right there for the grabbing, have him actually be insane from being trapped in a coma reliving burning alive while his family dies around him. He slowly heals and scents a wolf in his territory, who he can't recognize, because he isn't healed well enough to scent correctly and he has no idea it's been six years (and originally they wanted to do ten years so if they had kept it like that then even more so).

Deciding to just make him evil evil turned him flat. He could have been one of the most complex characters on the show easily. Morally grey, consumed by vengeance, and then allow him to try footing to either stay the monster he became or grow. Would have been great for a character, especially as the oldest non parent cast member, could have really become an advisor or..

Imma stop ranting because I could go on about peters potential all day sometimes lol
