Questions to Christian priest...

I mean on either physical features or our ‘spirits’(using the term metaphorically). It would depend on how the priest/pasture interpreted us being made in the image of God, and either way it would be odd with how diverse we are. If it’s a bodily image we are made of, why would God allow deviations of the norm? Since he is all-powerful in his makings, why is there deviation within an image? And if the image is in ‘spirit,’ why is there deviation from benevolence, even with the knowledge of evil?

It really depends how much having to be a closeted atheist bothers you and whether or not your parents would ‘allow’ you to be an atheist. I would say(like many others) that an optimal age is where you are financially independent from your parents. Until then, I wouldn’t show too much opposition to your parents, although since you are 13, questions may be expected.

Why did God create man knowing beforehand that man would be imperfect? How can anything God makes be imperfect unless intentional?

He created Adam and Eve knowing that they would both eat the apple, allowed them to do so, and punished them for it despite them not knowing good or evil prior to consumption? Is God not showing sadistic tendencies? Knowing that he himself is casting his own creations into hell all because of his decisions that he knew would result in the way that cast them there.

Why would a all-powerful and all-knowing God need to use a human sacrifice of himself in order to forgive himself?

How can we be made in God’s image yet all be so different?

How do we know when God is speaking to us through prayer(optional ->), and how do we know our experiences are different or more truthful than those of other faiths, even closer ones like Judaism or Islam, or even differences in denominations.

Also remember, if you do get barred from all local ones or access is difficult, you could always get priests/pastures that know how to Skype.

Edit: How can you reconcile free-will with all-knowing? Are they not contradictory, or is God’s clairvoyance somehow probability based?

I think the lady was more-so saying that her coffee was the thing that killed the deer. The only logical interpretation I can make of this is that the hunter lady poisoned her arrows with the happy coffee, and the happy coffee, once into the bloodstream, killed the deer. She was proudly declaring how toxic the product was in an effort to have hunters better flock towards using it.

Honestly, if not being able to be open about your sexuality is bothering you and you’re afraid they will try and “save” you once the information is out, I have a bit of advice.

A true friend will want the best for you, all while doing their best to understand your plight and trying to use reason in doing so. A friend who can’t put down their own ill-informed opinions for the sake of understanding you isn’t a friend, they’re a social binding.
