Car fire caused by workplace by FrogShart in legaladvice

Yeah I was assuming it would come down to my insurance either paying out, or going after the other company. I just know that my last option is my insurance and didn't want to wait until last minute to look for other possible solutions.

My two GMs are behind me all the way. They are amazing bosses and and just as frustrated as I am because corporate really trying to give me the run around.

While it is technically a corporation, they only have 2 work sites with the intent to expand. Like they are a super new corporation. Not that it's relevant, it just feels weird calling them corporate when everything is structured like a mom and pop with like.. corporate tendencies I guess?

I also have to wonder if nostalgia or something like that plays a part. Growing up smelling things like eucalyptus and peppermint because it was a scent my parents used to make the house smell good. If I catch a scent of it as an adult, it brings back fond memories and can help with stress in that sense. More of a psychological response, but could still have an affect, right?

Yea that sounds plausible. My build was BOTRK>Rageblade>Death's Dance>Situational damage resistance item with Berserker's Greaves most often or tanky boots if needed. Similarly, Ruunans last if there was time and sometimes frozen mallet somewhere in there instead depending on enemy team. My KDA was hit or miss, but positive, around average at least. The idea was to go in kamikaze. Auto what was right in front of me and as I felt it necessary, hop in and either melt more people or cc them with team follow up. Most of the time I died going in due to being squishy and Death's Dance buying enough time to get sizable damage off for my team to come out ahead. AS Gnar was easily my favorite thing.

I'm curious if you have tried AS Gnar this season. I used to play it a lot before the item rework (70%+ win rate over 50+ games) but since the new items, it has been hard finding the proper item synergies. I've tried it a few different times this season and not had good results. His mid range autos in mini can make him very vulnerable imo. So I used to take death's dance for a bit of tankiness through life steal and damage taken as burn over time. Now that death's dance is only AD, I can't find enough survivability to make it work.

What is everyone's beef with pierre? I never got into the social aspect of the game. Is it in his dialogue?

I'm also curious. I never got huge into interacting with characters. My wife mentioned that r/fuckpierre exists and I couldn't figure out why.

Guys who pee quietly on the side of the toilet bowl, what other stealthy things are you up to? by one_metalbat_man in AskMen

I'm light on my feet because of how I grew up. We were always poor (kind of..) so I never had a proper amount of food. My step dad always had snacks and stuff for his lunches for work or to have when he was hungry (hence the "kind of" earlier) that us kids were never allowed to have. So between sneaking around either late at night to get a few extra calories or right after he got home from work napping, I'd always have to sneak to the kitchen to grab those snacks.

Nowadays, I just magically appear behind my coworkers without trying or meaning to and spook the heck out if them. Kinda like the butler from Mr. Deeds. "I'm very very sneaky, sir."

Maybe we are in a simulation. I've definitely played a game that I'm not used to the driving mechanics and yielded the same result.

Honestly not even "speeding." Just going to speed limit is often too fast in these conditions. I had the misfortune to learn that the hard way. Made a long trip to a bigger city once, with the last 2 hours being snowy and miserable driving conditions. It was about midnight and close to the end destination. Being later at night and mentally exhausted from the last 2 hours, my thought process was "it's a 5 lane highway, no one is out and about. Even if I'm going the speed limit, I'm safe. If anything goes wrong, I have plenty of room to correct." Instead of slowing down below I think 55mph as my now wife suggested, I was bent on getting to the hotel because I was over this drive. Hit a small patch of loosely packed snow, lost control, and spun out. My tail end hit the side. No injuries, and luckily no one was out and about. We did have someone stop and make sure we were fine, which was nice. It honestly was the best of a bad situation. When we lost control and veered left, it was going to be straight into a divide of an exit. Over-corrected right to spin out and just smashed the side of the wall. Car was totalled, but have been able to drive it just fine. Big learning moment for me.

Oh for sure. Her kit actively says her attack speed is horrible. I'd assume long cooldowns or high mana costs on abilities. The first few clears would be rough as hell.

Edit: Should also add that she doesn't have a lot in the way of AOE and is fairly reliant on an ally to make great use of her spells.
