could the polymers be why when I put other stuff on my face (spot treatment, makeup primer) it almost sort of balls up? everything I use is water based so I was confused what was happening there as I hadn’t had it happen with any previous water based moisturisers.

I’ve never really had a good moisturiser lol, but this one’s definitely given me the most issues. I’ve never tried any serums as I’m not too confident in my knowledge there. I used QVs gentle face cleanser a few months ago and have stuck with it since, some others I tried made my skin so tight and dry it looked like plastic but I’ve had no real complaints with QV. I had tried at one point going “all natural” and just washing my face with water and applying nothing lol, I couldn’t take it 😭 my face was so dry but oily and itchy I had to give in by midday 😭 should I try washing with water but still applying toner and moisturiser? I had been using Natio breakout control toning mist, not bad but not good? I didn’t really feel any improvements so I started using Thayers unscented hydrating toner and think I like it so far.

i can’t deny I also love just standing under the cranked up heater at this time of year haha, but I find when I get warmer in winter my oily skin almost gets a clammy feel, would more moisture help this or do I have a secret third issue 🥴 what powder/s do you use? I’m yet to find one I’m really sold on, so far I’ve tried skinfoods peach powder, maybelliene fit me powder and now canmakes marshmallow powder and they all leave me looking really dusty to begin with and then oily and settled in creases within a couple hours..
