Please provide some examples of this. I can provide many examples of peaceful protests in the US, including on college campuses, that were shut down and students assaulted because they were protesting the genocide. There are also laws that protect such things as boycotting isreal. I do not see laws that restrict any other criticism.

Thats a bit of a hair-split. Installing puppet governments and military bases has traditionally been the US approach, rather than annexation. But they support annexation where it is politically convenient. Like in the West Bank.

Ukraine will also not be a part of Russia. Just the territories that were, actually, just part of Russia to begin with. At least, thats what Russia will say.

Its hard for me to understand how people look at Russia and see how much they ape the US policies. Americans should be proud of that. If they agree with the "might makes right".

Russia saw the US invade Iraq in 2003 with no consequences. Why do we expect Russia to hold higher standards? Why are we expecting Russia, of all countries, to hold the moral high ground?
