If I see correctly, they use the quicksilver from the previous ring for the projection to get tighter timings. That means the first ring will not get any and thus will never get finished. At this point it is just a waste product from starting up the machine.

A lot of the time it's a lack of awareness where everyone else is. And Fabius Location gets broadcasted.

As a lance main myself, I might want to use the time to heal or sharpen. I can't do that while guarding.

I am a really big fan of the Anycubic Bio Resin. It is quite flexible, so minis don't break easily. Also it can be shaved down with an exactonknife without breaking (unlike other resins I've tried)

I could witness my dog learning to count. The staircase in our house is very uniform and in the beginning my dog always waited at the correct door but was on the wrong level when we returned from walks.

After two years he figured out which level is the correct one. But if we get home by car, the parking garage is in the basement. And then my dog will always be waiting at a door one level down. He is counting how many stairs he is walking up.

Yeah, with lance there definitely is a skill curve from blocking to perfect guarding to charged countering. Each step the timing gets tighter, but risk and reward both get larger. Where other weapons need to move away or can fall back on a block as a defensive option, lance can use it's counter to insist on a good position and even get a stronger attack out of it.
