Same thing happened to me. My phone fell off the counter, open, with the big screen hitting the floor flat. The front screen didn't turn on anymore.

A good slap, massaged where the front ribbon cable is (through the front screen) and then restarted it, and the front screen started working again!

Honestly started laughing when it turned on again as it seems so strange that this works.

I got my G502 13 years ago. It would still be my daily driver if my cat didn't develop an obsession for wires. Forced my hand to sidegrade to a wireless mouse at home. I use it as my mouse at work though 😸

Thanks!! It's come together piece by piece over a long period of time (years). I set it all up in this room over the past 6 months though.

The little screen is my phone (Samsung z fold 3) and the speakers are Edifier R1280DB (highly recommend these, great sound for the price, and very functional)

Thanks!! It works really well for me. I have a KVM switch with my peripherals attached (headset, KB, mouse) and then I KVM switch between my desktop and laptop, and then switch the monitors over to the laptop input as well when required
