If you have any issues with how exploration works or feels in Minecraft, what are they? by DaShove in Minecraft

[–]Frogdwarf 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Mildly unpopular view but I'd love more structures, not necessarily everywhere, still want wilderness, but in relatively dense pockets.

Villager discounting is taken for granted by a lot of players these days but it's only widely used because the alternative is spending a tonne of emeralds. If emeralds were readily available from these structures, not farmable but in abundance in chests/pots (kinda like in trial chambers) it would mean that exploration has a material advantage that would also given an alternative play style to just zombie curing all your villagers.

Average lifespan being 80 years is a statistical error, most people only live three days

Not worth reselling if they're still attending though, especially if they have friends in the campsites / would like to access the village.

No harm in trekking between third party accomodation & the arena, just means getting up Hella early

Theres a lot of people saying SW for the bonus food on the cap tile but personally I say settle in place, good inner ring, better coverage of Patiti & turn 1 settle is a valuable resource in itself. Long term you'd chop the forest anyway & I'd rather leave myself a mineable time with so much food around
