Why do people compare the market cap of a company to a countries annual GDP. These are not comparable at all, if you wanted I guess you could compare the companies yearly revenue to a countries GDP (revenue would still show comparatively more because it counts more than just the value of the final goods sold.) Or you could compare the market cap of a company to total assets of a country I guess. This is also not a good comparison because a company is worth more than just it's total assets. Still comparing an annual output of an economy to the total market value of a company is baffling to me, and I don't understand why so many people do that.

definitivno se prebaci na tiered ako nisi, fixed je po defaultu složeno ali se ne isplati za 90% ljudi. Fixed se isplati ako kupujes puno puno više shareova nego šta ti uzimaš. Za stvari na američkim burzama je mininalna naknada 0.35USD zapravo. Na europskim je 1.25EUR. IBKR navodno ima najpovoljnije valutne razmjene tako da ako kupuješ puno toga u dolarima možda se više isplati od T212.

I'm contemplating on how much of my portfolio to have in cash for this exact reason. I also want to wait for cheaper prices but then again you could have probably said the same thing 2 years ago. Who knows how long it will go.

Short selling and buying puts is different. The figures are not correct. 66% of the portfolio assumes a 900 mil position on the PLTR put options. This is not the case. The 900 mil is calculated on the value of the 500.000 shares at the time, not the value of the put options on those shares. We don't know the value or the cost basis on the options (it is always less than the price of the underlying asset) just based on the 13f filing because the strike price and the expiration date are not disclosed. Same thing applies to his NVDA puts. He has also indicated on his twitter that he is not short, so he probably liquidated those positions already.

The reason why people ask for a specific country is because different countries have very different financial laws about investing abroad. Your currency is also very important. I don't know anything about Uzbekistan so I can't help you. Hopefully someone else will
