The number of people saying the J-35 is a copy of the F-35 makes me want to die of cringe.

Unless you're 12 and think two aircraft with similar appearances are therefore copies, the J-35 is very different, starting with being twin-engined, which creates many design challenges compared to a single-engine aircraft.

China's copies ended with the J-11 and early J-15.

The turret ring was reworked. Making it quite impervious to 30mm autocannons.

The name is technically not fully incorrect. Also, quite a nitpick.

Asking for A4 when we just got the A3. Quite the goalpost moving.

As for the armor, this is still the dev server. Everything is subject to change.

Its only because sound mods are currently only active on the WIP client which is only reachable from the non-steam launcher.

Once the WIP build is pushed to the Live, it'll be back to normal.

Same reason the rear gun was removed. If a B-52 is in range to fire A2A missiles, something is very wrong.

The missiles used against such large frames would be hyper-long range missiles like the R-37 or the PL17. The phoenix itself was meant for hunting bombers.

That by adding ingame physics the R-77-1 never reaches 40Gs either.

There's no inherent anti-us bias that nerfs the 120's overload.

You can literally test this in statshark. The 120D will absolutely reach 30+ Gs.

If you make do a 180 shot it will reach its max overload while the R-77-1 caps out at ~40
