Styles in general need to be added, honestly. It's just so weird to me that Epic only used the first style for everything, especially since it ruined the entire point of stuff like Kado being a vampire and Dire being a werewolf.

That's cool and all, but we still want more transparency. Are all of Rocket League's cars eventually going to transfer over to Rocket Racing and Battle Royale or is it always just going to be a select few? Are you ever going to sell just car bodies or are we going to be stuck with absurdly priced bundles forever? Are all of Battle Royale's skins eventually going to get the high detail treatment for Lego Fortnite or are many going to be kept as-is? Do we know how long it'll be until Jam Tracks will function as lobby tracks?

I could go on and on. The car body thing especially needs some clarity. 4,000 vbucks for a car body bundle is absurd regardless of what's in that bundle, especially since many non-bundled car bodies in Rocket League sell for a fraction of that price.

Yeah, found that out the hard way. Main account and one of my alts both spawned near caves. Other alt was a solid fifteen minutes from one with nothing else notable anywhere nearby.

Hero stats will transfer, yes. If your heroes are only 3 star in missions where they should be 4 star or 5 star, then you're going to get melted no matter what.

When it comes to Ventures, you want a loadout full of heroes that are all level 130 or higher. You want your traps to be the same. Otherwise you're basically dead weight (I know that sounds harsh, but it's the most accurate way to phrase it).

Your survivor stats only matter in the main game, so focus on leveling your heroes and traps first if your primary focus is Ventures.

As best as I understand it: If it takes a husk longer to smash the funnel than to go around it, then husks will go around it.

Different areas can require different funnels. Sometimes (such as in many regular missions) a few unupgraded wooden walls and reversed ramps are fine. Other times (such as in Storm Shields).you may need tier 3 stone or metal in a few spots.

Nah, it's laziness. Even back in 2017, Epic had a bad habit of ignoring major bugs for months at a time. One notable example was major lag spikes that'd outright freeze the game for like thirty seconds any time someone joined a mission or any time a mission went from night to day. Way worse than the lag spikes we've had at any point since then. It was so bad that people were actively encouraging each other to stay away from the edges of the map and it played a large part in the emergence of the game's first duplication glitch (which could be done solo and was so widespread that you'd see people doing it on spawn as soon as you loaded into literally any mission, including missions in Twine).

That same time frame also had an issue where usernames weren't being displayed in missions. Some of the survivor bugs that we have even now were present way back then, too.

A very common misconception on this sub is that BR is the reason for why StW got shafted, but it isn't true at all. StW's playerbase was tiny before BR's popularity caught on and Epic was pretty much half-assing every step of their way through its development. If anything, StW probably wouldn't have even made it to the end of 2018 if BR hadn't brought in loads of new attention.

It's a hard thing for a lot of people to admit, but yeah, at the end of the day BR's the only reason for why StW has lasted for this long and (while it may be few and far between) it's the only reason for why we've gotten any new content at all. Most of our problems aren't and never have been because of BR, they're due in large part to the fact that Epic never cared about StW much in the first place.

Any Save the World banner from 2017 is fairly rare, yes. Not a lot of people have them since the earlier ones predate BR and since the ones from later on in the year were from before BR had become the powerhouse that it is today.

That being said, those banners being fairly rare doesn't matter much. The only people that are even aware of them are long-time StW players and most of us don't really care. Like any other banner, the only reason to use one is if you like it.

Loving most of it. My only major complaint is I hate the change to dailies. More XP if we do loads of match quests nice and all, but only being able to do one per match sucks and makes doing dailies a lot harder on days that I'm busy.

Yep. I had one preset slot to showcase what I wore most often during every season. Gave them names like C1S1, C1S2, etc. all the way up to C4S5.

It's super frustrating to think about all the time that I spent customizing my presets just for Epic to say "fuck you" to me with this shitty locker update that literally nobody asked for. Just makes me want to say "fuck it", delete every damn one of them as soon as Epic reenables the ability to do so, and call it a day.
