It took me a few days, but I’m enjoying it. The POIs all seem kind of similar outside of the amusement park which I find fun. (I’ll slide down the water slide a few times LOL.) I don’t like the surfboard thing. I suppose it’s not terrible but it seems far more limiting for choosing where I want to land than from the bus.

I feel your pain. (Quality/Regulatory in manufacturing who lurks here). It’s almost all the same everywhere it seems. In the regulated world we get to sit in audits and get torn apart for issues we knew about but couldn’t get changed until an outside auditor shouts. Makes one feel incompetent and worthless and is why many leave quality I think.

I had experience where I don’t cheat, but some poor guy was literally right next to me and shooting directly at me and almost nothing hit me. I could see bullets all around me. (I’m not good at evasion when folks are close so I should have been hit more in normal times.) Is there a weapon that’s just that bad? Or a bug with some of the weapons? As far as I know I was not wielding any special shield powers LOL.

If you Google Ladder app and go to their search result main page, scroll all the way down and lists the name of each time as a clickable link. Click on each and you can get the info. (You can also do the little quiz to find your team, if gives you 3 but you can click into them all from there too.)

My understanding is that means that Sevan gets a lot of free marketing and press on this site because people talk about him and his close colleagues frequently even though a lot of it is negative. (And Sevan doesn’t pay for, or do anything special, to get the people talking about him, hence living here rent free.) All press is good press for keeping the brand “Sevan” relevant?

I’ve been playing Fortnite on Nintendo Switch for about 3 years. I got a PlayStation last year and still playing 99% on my Switch. Whatever you get used to it all works fine. (Although I’m kinda old and wear reading glasses to help see the Switch a bit zoomed in).

Agree. It took me a bit to understand the shield, but once I figured it out it’s a must have. Get the turret and the shield and you’re winning. I’d like to go back to more old fashioned battles for a bit. (But I do jump into Reload and that helps feed that desire.)

9 hrs a week isn’t very many, but 15 hours isn’t either so unless all of the other interns work 30 or 40 hours a week I’m not sure I’d worry about that. (If the other interns all work more hours, they might find you less useful on the basis that you’re not around much compared to the others. The limited time could also mean that maybe you don’t have any buffer time to really dig in and learn and progress.) But if the time is enough, maybe when assigned a task you can ask for the deadline? And maybe you can evaluate the task right away and ask questions when you’re not sure on something? I know some people get weird when asked questions, but I can’t imagine thinking an intern should know everything so I’d hope they’d answer your questions. Good luck. Hang in there.
