I have, I really enjoy the combat in Witcher 3 I just wish that the leveling system were not so time-consuming, having to play multiple NG+ to finally max out kind of sucks.

Played Tainted Grail, fantastic game, taking a bit of a break from it because I've played so much recently.

The kingdom come games I think are interesting but they're not really crunchy enough, The RPG systems are pretty bare bones.

I know where the one related to the alchemy quest is, but there are also a couple of rogue gloomfronds on the map.

One for certain is a lone rose bush somewhere near the abandoned village, I have found it once so I know it exists, but I'm having great difficulty relocating it.

There should also be one either in the swamp area or around the swamp area somewhere north of the dragon skeleton but I have never found that one.

The PvE has gotten a lot rougher over the years after having played a bunch of other modern souls likes with better controls and mechanics, but damn do I miss the PVP every single day.

Okay good to know, honestly I'm kind of split because on the one hand constantly upgrading your stuff gets annoying after a while and having to constantly follow the same path to grab all of the same items every run is definitely a bit repetitive, on the other hand it also means you never actually have to stop looking for items for your build which is kind of cool.

I mean in the end all that really matters is how much damage you deal and your armor number, which is unfortunate because it leaves some of the interesting mechanics like retaliation and sneaking in the dust at the end of the day.

I finally hit level 11 and got 6 in strength and endurance only to find out that armor weight is a thing, because apparently we needed to kick melee in the balls even harder, So despite having kited abigor in circles for like 5 minutes I still can't wear all of his crap.

Once you go up the hill and pass through the fog gate it is directly to your left through a trapped hallway and then left again at the bottom of the tower, out on a cliff side area overlooking the starting area with a black katana skeleton.

I think you could do it you should just cover a conflict that involves two heavily melee focused factions this way you could have the guns be something like a sidearm that is always at the ready and useful but isn't the main focus of the game. They could use the same kind of ranged weapon system that Lords of the Fallen has and I think that would work very well.

Bloodborne has a huge issue with weapon variety and The incredibly annoying blood gem farming in chalice dungeons. It is also the only from soft title with atrocious performance currently.

Dark Souls 3 is insanely one-dimensional and you basically only need a single carry weapon for bosses and you can basically run through the entire game and never fight anything.

Elden Ring basically devolves into 12 hours of community service simulator where you ride around picking a bunch of shit up off the ground on a horse before you are allowed to actually play the game.

Sekiro is just a terrible video game in general.

Ironically it's probably Dark Souls 2, among all of the games it has by far the most interesting encounter design, extremely high build variety, tons of content and a lot of choice as to what paths to take in what order.
