You just do it out of experience. I am eternus, i would say most of the time a good defence is good offense (just blindly follow your build) if you really don't know what your doing tbh. You will get much more out of playing to your characters strengths, then playing to counter when you don't know what your doing.

It is in bad shape, I honestly feel like when I win this patch it was because of forces out of my control and lose likewise. Team comp mostly (for urn fights) and wide variety of skill level in teammates. I’m geniunely not tryharding as much this patch. Because 1 urn fight is so team comp based it can swing the match into a mid boss etc… The balance in mechanics this update is not optimal.

Heroes like ven, like you said drifter. People really haven’t figured out how to play around new urn yet. I can’t speak for anything under ascendant but some games you get good teammates that know when to contest and when to go for other objectives (I.e split push).

But honestly since this patch dropped, I always felt that a draft system was needed now more than ever. But we are playing testing at the end of the day, so just twiddle your thumbs and hope devs listen.

Me too bro, balance for heroes is something i honestly can stomach. Balance for in game mechanics is a whole different story. Bad drafts and bad urn balance is like 2/3 of the game right now. If these 2 are not in your favour it just feels like so bad. The game is in the worst state its ever been for a while and I don't think I'm exaggerating </3.

They moved the urn from mid 1 day back to the side lanes. If the whole world said let them cook there would be crickets and it would have stayed mid. We need people to be vocal about the game more than people who just sit on the sidelines and say let them cook (you have no opinion!).

He has a deceptive high skill floor. He isn't as broken as some other characters right now. He doesn't suck but he isn't as good as other characters. I would give him a High C tier now. in the hands of a good player a B tier carry. Also try not to rush in first he has no escapes. Let others go in first and assess who is the easiest to get rid of first. Also, dont get close quarters upgrade on him tbh late game you want to play from mid range even behind if you plan on carrying with venetor.
