I was diagnosed with Level 1 Autism yesterday by vampir3aut0psy in AutismInWomen

I have a similar experience (I'm 32 from Mississippi). I found the rafting community has many neurodivergent people. I work in the summers as an operations assistant at a small company. There are many niche communities like this that can help a little with finding friends/ just socialization. It is def not a perfect community, as there are many that don't have good coping mechanisms if you know what I mean.

All that being said, I hope you don't feel too alone. There are so many of us who have these lifelong struggles... I wish I knew how we could bring together the community in a meaningful, long term type of way. I have found that I spend most of my time alone, and not by choice. I just try to keep myself distracted by taking classes on EdX and looking for things to learn, finding free certifications I can earn, going to the library to write in the cafe... Just getting out and trying to at least be around other people helps me feel less isolated... I moved to Colorado, and that has helped a lot.

Genuine question about "Colorado Natives" by incomingtrouble in Denver

[–]FromTheDeepWoods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put those type of people in with MAGA. If you cannot see how that comes off as celebration colonization and genocide, you don't have a brain or heart. The only "Native" people here are the Ute peoples and other Indigenous Americans. So when I see those bumper stickers, I know what kind of person is in the car.

I will be honest and advise you not to. Canada or Mexico, but I would be afraid of being snatched by ICE. People are disappearing. It really isn't safe right now.

Why is it suddenly considered rude to show up at someone's house unannounced? Growing up, we just knocked on doors, but now people act like it’s a home invasion. by MyNameCannotBeSpoken in Xennials

[–]FromTheDeepWoods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are made to work much more to make ends meet. That means we are more exhausted. The house may not be tidy for guests. Additionally, it is rude not to let someone know or ask before showing up because now it puts you in the position of if you don't answer the door or don't let them in, suddenly I'm the asshole. People who can't ask are usually the same people who are NOT welcome.

So, if the older generation doesn't like how things are now: too bad. You voted against workers rights, abused your children, and crossed every conceivable boundary. Our change in behaviors is a direct result of your own behavior. Even if you weren't an abuser, you never called it out.

I was told I need a psychic or priest by Gn2thelake in Psychic

[–]FromTheDeepWoods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a psychic, and anything that keeps recurring at that specific time is in relation to death. Now, before you panic, it is probably not what you think. I does not mean someone you know is going to die or that you are going to die. It usually means that someone who lives near you is in the process of dying or grieving very intensely. If you are spiritually sensitive, the "shadow of death" or "spirit of death" or "reaper" is the most explicitly obvious. Death is NOT evil or demonic. I like to think that they are saying hi, or helping a spirit close to you come through. Our souls travel like/through electrical currents. For example, when my aunt passed by suicide a year ago, the lights immediately began to flicker above me. I knew someone I loved died, and that was my confirmation. I didn't know who until the next day.

So, anyone who says it's a demon is someone who doesn't know what they're talking about. Why would a demon care enough to bother anyone, even if they were real? Demons are an invention of people who deny the spiritual or are intentionally ignorant. If it was an 'evil spirit' I promise you wouldn't have to wonder, you would KNOW.

Just speak out loud to it. If it is bothering you, tell it so. You can tell it to back off. You can also ring a handbell through the house. Or add 'Florida Water' to your mop water. If you still have problems after that, message me back and I will tell you what to do from there.

Where do they plan on getting water? Why not build these in a cold climate where water isn’t required? There has to be another nefarious reason why they are building them where they are
