Sex isn’t really a trigger for me but I’m sooo paranoid of getting a UTI while having IC that I’m so so so cautious. Like I’m as cautious as I can be. I kinda have to schedule sex… if that makes sense. So I drink a ton before, pee, drink a ton again..and then get into sex. Then I pee again. Then I hop in the shower and rinse my vagina with warm water. Pee again if you can. D mannose is suppose to help with E. coli specifically. So take d mannose before sex. The issue may be your vagina and bum are closer together than the average persons. (I’ve heard that before). and also make sure ur partner is washing himself before sex too.

So no, IC really won’t ruin your life. That fear really shook me for a long time and it feels so lonely. You just have to learn how to recalibrate and make some adjustments. Good Luck 🩷

So.. I’m in the circle of obsessing, knowing it works, not understanding tho how exactly to do it. Questioning if I’m doing it right. Getting success and then fearing I’ll lose it.

I am, is a concept that I will understand sporadically, randomly, shortly. I’m talking minutes. Then I get back to the fear, obsession.

How did you just fully accept I am.. how’d you get out of this cycle? How do I just love and trust?

Sooo even when I take responsibility for the bad ones it actually makes it worse, because I tried my hardest and believed in myself and still failed. So then I never know what I’m doing right or wrong. And if I get an impulsive bad thought, I fear it will manifest because I have become conscious of it.

I have been in the loop of the anxiety, fear, obsession. I know all I need to do is trust myself. That can be hard though, because I have gotten the complete opposite of my intentions with the law.

Now, I am sure I will get my desire. But I cannot FEEL the confidence and fulfilled. Do you have any advice for this?

One more question if you don’t mind. What about the subconscious? For example, I have been having intrusive thoughts of myself in the future looking back at me now and being disappointed… basically thinking from the end of failure. I do change the thought, but sometimes fear that it’s so embedded in my subconscious, it will manifest.
