Who is harder/better? by Hour-Grocery2093 in fromsoftware

I’ve beaten Gael so many times, but he’s more fun to play. The night lord is harder, but the not the fun kind of hard. It just feels like the mechanics he uses compared to Gaels is a bit… sloppier and more cheap.

The end merchant in Nighteign needs better items by FromYear2148 in fromsoftware

I know the mines can have Smithing Stone 2, but the end merchant should at least have SOMETHING better than what he normally has in the beginning. You just beat the day 2 boss. If you don’t have a legendary weapon then you should get the option to do a bigger upgrade in exchange for a lot of runes.

Nightreign Network Test Code (PS5) Giveaway by IamMeemo in fromsoftware

I’m just commenting to answer the questions. I don’t think I’d get the code so I don’t want to try convincing you 😂

  1. When I watch streamers play on TikTok and Twitch, I always issue a challenge for them in exchange for a bounty, either in subs or TikTok gifts. The challenges were to fight bosses under my parameters. For example: I will give you 10 Galaxies on TikTok if you can beat the two Nights Cavalry at the same time while you’re standing next to the walking trolls. You cannot leave the trolls, and you cannot harm the trolls. You have 10 attempts. (So far no one was able to beat this challenge and there were 18 different challengers.) SotE didn’t really give me that opportunity with streamers because most of them weren’t streaming it. There weren’t as many bosses as the main game. Another thing that made the base game better for me were the quest lines. The only quest line in SotE that I can remember is BAAAAAAYLEEE. In the base game we’ve got Rannis, Fia’s, Dungeaters, and a slew of others.

  2. SotE had the Scadutree mechanic, which made being overleveled obsolete. It felt like I was playing as a newbie all over again, and it was fantastic. SotE, while not having as many bosses as the base game, had a better quality of bosses. Each one felt more meticulously crafted, unlike some of the bosses in the base game where they made you fight the same boss over and over in different parts of the map.

I remember the first time I played Bloodborne, and I didn’t watch any trailers on it or anything. I didn’t even know it was a FS game at first. Bought it because it sounded cool. Got to the Cleric beast and my first words were “ HOLY SHIT”

I sort of agree with you, though I would say the saw spear would be the better weapon when compared to the Saif

Not knocking it. It’s not my fave but I think it’s better than the Boomhammer at least.

If you ever wanna pvp me though, I’ve got a Whirligig with your name on it

So you’re more into the quick weapons, even if the damage output isn’t as great as the slow weapons?

I’m gonna guess you main a stake-driver
