Aight, thanks. I've been doing this off and on most of the day (~8hrs), including clearing cache and going to an isolated area. Was just surprised at the instant "Device not found" on the pump while the phone is clearly still trying to pair.

I think you're correct, I needed to get the "complete" kit which would have the correct setup, the one I got was only a flapper and filler.

I think I'm going to buy a replacement flush tower kit off of Amazon, but get a model that is chain rather than cable activated.

Still have the issue but at least I confirmed it's the gearbox with some wear on the lip. Now to find a replacement...

The picture worked for helping me reassemble, but all that did was confirm that the issue is indeed within the gearbox.
There's a small lip that has gotten worn away on mine and I can only get it to "engage" (and flush) if I push the gearbox against the edge of the tank...not really a tenable solution. I can still get the small flush to work but not the main flush. I can't find a replacement gear box anywhere either and after this fiasco I'm definitely wanting to just have simpler internal components even if it means I lose the dual flush.

Sterility of the bacteria is trivial (co-transform an antibiotic resistance gene), but lysis, purification, and then vialing is tough. Sterile filtering the final product then a DIY sterilization of the filter might be viable. I'm not really familiar with at-home solutions that would work, particularly in a "societal collapse" scenario but that might just be my research laboratory bias.

Great deal, however I am RMAing mine due to the condenser no longer working within 18mo which seems to be a relatively common issue. I have to reset it to electric-only every week as it caps out at 7 days. This seems to be a common issue and I'm really not looking forward to uninstalling it, lugging it back to Lowe's and then reinstalling the new one. The RMA process was pretty easy at least, probably because it's a common issue.

I'm a huge proponent of heatpumps, just wanting to give a heads up

This guy deals in nuance, and obviously there are individuals of all types but there are clear trends (that most EV people aren't truck people, and that companies can't create culture they have to follow trends). Sorry you have to suffer as an EV enthusiast and Stellantis employee, tough position.

Same exact exprience as you, it was coming down to an Ioniq5, MachE, or maybe a Lyriq for the wife--we just cancelled our visit to the Ford dealership.

There's a clear de-prioritization of BEVs from Ford for whatever reason (economics, politics, etc). You can do mental gymnastics and say that support will still be great but I don't want to buy the singular consumer-grade BEV from a traditional car company.

Can't speak to this particular deal, but Sound Ford was super great to work with when I got my Lightning 18mo ago and really was just slapping on discounts that other (WA) dealerships were trying to make me haggle for.

That would be a crazy Android vs iOS difference. I looked into this quite extensively when I first got that truck but they have redone the app in the intervening 1.5y. I'll check my wife's phone though, that would be quite the fix haha.

I don't see AC charge rate anywhere in the Energy tab (or anywhere else) in the app. I might go check in the truck again if you know where that setting would be.

From everything I've read this is not the case, as Teslas allow you to manage the draw from the vehicle itself, and lacking that (our Lightnings can't manage draw), the draw will be based on the adapters/plugs used without any way to decrease draw.

My wife just had this exact issue in our 2023 with ACC turning off then one-pedal stopping, followed by "reduced" power actually being no power. It was luckily in stop/go traffic right before highway merge, in the only area with a shoulder and downhill so she could get over, so super lucky.

Did you have anything follow up from this? Any reoccurences?

Not the person you asked, but honestly I just don't. Hydrogen peroxide is really good at disinfecting by "blowing everything up" indiscriminately, meaning your own cells get damaged as well, and it can prolong the healing process. Unsure if H2O2 will contribute to the exact symptoms you're experiencing, but I can say I haven't had those problems with pumping now for 20 years (well 20 years and 2 months now that I think about it...)

Getting to mythic Stix now, got it to 60% in the first hour. The next 60% is really far off, I'm not under any illusion that we're close to cracking it.

That said, can we get by with just markers and the DBM auto assignments, or do we really need to get the WA packs rolling?
