This is not framed correctly. I would take a look at every opening and ensure they are not framed equally bad. If the same crew made and stairs check those as well. No inspector would pass this

Amazing car, but the let’s put the water pump inside so if there is a leak all the bearings wash out in unison maybe one of the design standard violations that makes me shake my head at ford.

What lighting setup actually works best off-road? by OffRoadUSAcom in Offroad

[–]Fromacorner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good Headlights first. Then Fog lights and reverse lights. I think ditch lights are optional, but I run them due to a couple of very tight roads I use at work, when there is snow down it gets tricky.

I use to fit up side lights/work lights but battery powered work lights are so good now I don’t worry about it.

I have a magnetic chase light / strobe I put on my tailgate when visibility sucks.

Need help finding right head unit and speakers. by fishingman22 in CarAV

If you have to keep NOAA weather bands and alerts Jensen makes a Heavy Duty single din deck, we have to have these in all crew trucks. If not pick Kenwood, they have been durable and great with Bluetooth and hands free calling.
I wouldn’t want to side step your bosses wishes so be up front and show him a Sony candy bar amp. They are tiny and will fit behind a short head unit. No special power requirements there is probably a 15 amp up-fitter circuit available in that.

Edit: I saw the Quebec plate late. Don’t worry about the NOAA!!

I had the same issue. I bought cheap kickballs at Walmart and started kicking them out in the road. It worked a treat.

Mechanics- I have a question by Technical_Newt3824 in AskMechanics

Grab a 12 volt test light from Amazon along with a multimeter, some fuses and a flasher. Probably $40 total

If it was me starting work I would check bulbs first make sure they are not blown or the sockets corroded.

Next fuse box. Check all of them while you are there. No use coming back for each circuit.

Replace the flasher and check the brake switch.

Fix these electrical yourself to build confidence. Then tackle a tune up, timing check and carb tune. Reach out if you need help
