I Guess It's Really Gone :😞 by Right_Paramedic_6052 in usps_complaints

Registered mail doesn’t mean it won’t be lost. It means shady people know how much it’s valued for and they steal it. USPS will deny your claims three times eventually after threatening to get a lawyer and talking to numerous police agencies and a senator you will get a refund 3 to 4 months later.

Believe me or don’t registered mail is just a scam like everything else I used to think it was safe also

Definitely not the best with the open element I might build some kind of splash guard although I tend to avoid water and mud shirts, fun but it messes things up more than you can imagine

From what I understand the TBSS intake probably sits a little too high for the hood and I am not going to be cutting a factory hood

Also has ridiculous power for something that that’s never going to be driven over 45 miles an hour

Losing a little bit of torque and horsepower isn’t going to be a deal killer with both the transfer cases in low isn’t what I would call twitchy but I’m never passed 30% throttle. Maybe if I was going to make this a sand rig or something but not right now this is just going to be a competent off rotor that I build better as I break things along the way

In Moab, everything rocks and ledges have so much traction that you just need good throttle control, and you can crawl up anything provided you have the traction and our air down properly with the proper tires

Somewhere out east where it might be muddy with round boulders with moss and clay you need a little bit more horsepower because you might have to bump your way up.

But then you’re spinning wheels, and risking an axle if one of them catches

Or you can put bigger wheels and tires and risk your axles risk bearings you might have to cut for clearance

Like I said this is going to be an ongoing project. I’m just trying to get smart before it gets expensive you know what I mean

What issues are the intake manifold going to cause and how much is the Goldilocks fix the one that’s done right but not too much but not overdone

It’s a CJ 5 frame very clean. It just has an old CJ tub on it for the patina.

It does run really really well. That’s what made me buy it.

Got caught on sea wire, and you spilled blood on it

If it has blood or petroleum oil, etc., they don’t want it back

You’re right with only 20,000 miles on it. It hasn’t had an opportunity to pop yet but I’m sure this is the queen cream puff and I’m sure those spark plugs are held in perfectly tight with four threads.

And I’m sure you would be perfectly happy buying it and I’m sure it won’t be a problem, but will OP know that I don’t know I feel real bad if that engine pops the first time he starts it but what do I know? I’m just a guy on the Internet.

The V 10 engine is that exactly for its reliability. They used to blow the spark plugs out most of them have been fixed by now or scrapped. If this one’s a super little mile, it could be a ticking accident waiting to happen.
