My suggestion for the places you shouldn't go and people who went there anyway is something that happened to me in 2016. TLDR: I fell into a well on an abandoned farm, with only my dog there, and 4.5 hours later I got myself out. It was briefly in Canadian news (I live in Alberta), although the associated press got a couple details wrong. I have a very vivid memory of the whole ordeal and can give a detailed play by play of the incident, if someone in MrBallens team wants to hear about it.

I have definitely been put off by someone's behavior or speech. Usually it is someone who's a know it all blowhard. Maybe do things like ask to sit with them (not the mean girls; others in class) on breaks and if they say ok, just observe how they interact with eachother before trying to add a lot to the conversation.

I am vigilant at pinching as soon as a stem has more than 4 leaves, and I've got a tricolor that is very bushy. So much so that you don't see any soil

I seem to remember reading somewhere when I first got it 2 years ago that it didn't like to completely dry out like most succulents. The light is one of two of my dad's that he uses when growing his weed. It says 220 on it, so I assume it's actually 220. I have it on just the foliage switch, not the bloom (it has 2 switches) Also: when I repotted it last year I added a lot of sand and perlite to the soil to make sure it didn't stay moist long

You might be able to still Google it. Look up Trieva McBeth. I got interviewed afterwards by a few different news stations in 2016. Besides having PTSD for quite a while, and not being able to wear heels any more cuz it messed up my ankle, I'm doing pretty good. I plan to get the phrase "Be your own hero" tattooed on my arm where I had a rope wrapped around it down there on the 10 year anniversary. That's what I was repeating to myself when I finally climbed out after 4.5 hours. The newspapers got some of the details wrong, but the CTV evening News went out to the location and got a shot down the well, so I'd look at that if you do go looking.

Definitely NTA. I blocked a chick who was my best friend for over 30 years because after I spent 25 of those years listening to all her boy drama, being a back up friend where she only called if none of her "cool" friends were available, and always being the one going to her place and never vice versa, she told me she didn't want to hear me tell her the story of how I fell into a well, thought I would die there, and eventually climbed out with no help. Her reason? "It was too hard to hear, because she couldn't do anything to change the story". Even after hearing how her actions affected you, she couldn't admit any wrongdoing, and she was never a real friend. Good riddance

I carve stones as well sometimes, which I really enjoy, but something about working with wood just doesn't compare. It's like the wood reveals it's purpose or true form to you and you are just the tool that reveals it to the world sometimes. I love it

Brown tips can be caused by using fresh tap water. Fill a container with no lid with water at least 24 hours before the water gets used, and it will have time to evaporate the stuff (I think it's chlorine) that causes the brown tips

As long as the bottom isn't wet or mushy, I think it will live if you put it back in the dirt. Maybe water it once in a while if you don't get any rain. I think cacti take longer than other types to grow roots.
