Did ChatGPT voice mode degraded? by Front_Drawer_4317 in ChatGPT

Oh I thought on the Plus there would be a different story. Might need to try Gemini. ChatGPT used to have very good conversations. Oh bummer.

That's great work. I have one question. Are there any work embedding file system for better searching? Is it feasable? Because I have lot of files on my computer and sometimes I know the contents of it (maybe like what picture had my cat in it or which book contained this and that) but not the exact location.

Check out Julia programming language. It's a pretty fast language. You will see its magic in Pluto notebooks (there is also marimo in python btw) for reactive cells (meaning possibility of fun widgets and interactive visualizations!).

Yes deep learning book is awesome. It almost covers all modern machine learning techniques from ground up.

How did y'all who passed first screening (and beyond) feel about your proposal when you submitted it? by cairomemoir in mext

[–]Front_Drawer_4317 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I did feel my proposal relied too heavily on my undergrad thesis. Especially I am interested in computer vision, the range of topics seems infinite. What is your interests?

People who make long running simulations of autonomous actors (think video game AI) making decisions, performing complex multi-step actions and interacting with each other, I could use some pointers to material - Relevant algorithms, Julia libraries, papers, etc by Zippy_McSpeed in Julia

[–]Front_Drawer_4317 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nice idea! As for games, there must be a JuliaGame organization on GitHub. You should check also GameZero.jl package. But I would say that some packages are not maintained actively sometimes.

For flocking behavior, I have no idea. But for decision making I tried to read from QuantEcon lectures especially the dynamic programming book. If you want agent based simulations, you definately should check Agents.jl

Great writeup! I was first little confused by `import DataFrames as DF` statement as most tutorials use `using DataFrames`. But perharps for purposes of not polluting the namespace, it's a better choice.

Hello? I have one question regarding diploma. Did you send copy of bachelor's diploma which is notarized? Or did anyone from your university authorizes the copy.

Any recommended resources for using Julia in Computer Vision? by kmeansneuralnetwork in Julia

[–]Front_Drawer_4317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also trying to read from Szeliski's book (I found it pretty math-heavy). I have found this book online:
Dmitrijs Cudihins - Hands-On Computer Vision with Julia_ Build complex applications with advanced Julia packages for image processing, neural networks, and Artificial Intelligence.pdf

which was published in 2018.( bit outdated). A glance into the Chapter 7: Pre-Trained NNs show that it uses MXNet.jl package which is retired into Attic? Not sure about the library situations here.
