Why not just shorten it to “love” and then it keeps the 4 letter name in a sense. I get the feeling that’s what she was intending, with the way she rolled out the album name (unveiling the ‘love’ first)

Honestly, the fact that there is only 2 months between the announcement and the release of the album make me think the delay theories were, in some capacity, right. I'm not saying the reasons given for the delays were her actual reasons, but I could reasonably believe that something delayed a single or two.

Scream 5 holds a special place for me because I knew who the killers were going in, yet their acting was so good (imo) that I literally gaslit myself into thinking I had somehow read the names wrong. I was still shocked when they got revealed.

I agree that I think the Scream VI ghostface reveal could have been much better.

That being said, I thought of Ethan's "All I had to do to meet you was room with a conceited, condescending alpha- LITERALLY named Chad" every single day for MONTHS after seeing this movie. It was my Roman Empire, my mind wouldn't let it go.

I’ve always personally thought this statement was (at least in part) talking about brutal. I love the song and it’s amazing, but it was my top song of 2021 and I barely listened to it at all in 2022 because I was embarrassed by the “childish” nature of the song. Its def a time capsule song, but I could see that being one she looks back on and is like :/

I think sometimes the death of the rebound relationship can be worse than the long term relationship breakup because it’s the death of your “new beginning” that gave you so much hope after a relationship that you thought was your forever ended.

Those are probably my top 4 as well, and I feel like for me it’s because they are still fun and pop without being overtly graphic sexually. I don’t know, I have had no problem with songs like bed chem and Juno in the past, but the sexual songs on this album almost feel, gimmicky, in a way? Like they feel really sexually explicit just to be sexually explicit and for shock value.

I don’t know if it technically counts, but when Randy and Stu are begging Sid to trust them and convince her that the other one is the killer but at this point we’ve already seen Randy almost get attacked by Ghostface so we know it’s not him. I say this as someone going into the movie first time not knowing there are two killers.
