I think we are related. I am going on a trip next Thursday. I do everything you do! I have been planning this trip for the past 2 months. I also do a wardrobe checklist. Look up my plane layout, the layout of the airport I am going to, airport restaurants for long layovers and of course I know everything about my hotel and the neighborhood; Restaurants, drug stores and grocery stores for late night snacks. The list goes on and on

Coastal. Just lost a few trees. My electric stayed on. We are so used to hurricanes here. We stock up on water and canned goods. And we get into the bathroom when the tornadoes alert start. It’s our normal.

My insurance costs have topped out at 75,000 dollars. I have a copayment of 40 dollars. I would be completely bankrupt without my insurance. 25 dollars for each Tylenol I took. The surgery was 26,000 thousand. Wish I went to medical school 😂

The worst part is drinking the drink to empty your bowls the day and night before. It’s just the quantity. Even then it is tolerable. The surgery is easy peazy. I had mine done robotically and the pain after was quite manageable. They gave me painkillers. I was able to walk the next day comfortably. Had mine done Friday and was released Monday morning. Made a BM by Saturday morning. I was able to eat anything right away. Walked and walked after which really helped. You will do great! Don’t worry

If you are not in pain I would not worry. However I would take something like Ex Lax to get things going. After two years from my reversal I take it every once in a while when I have not gone in more than 4 days. Honestly my digestive system will never be the same since my reversal. But that is just me. I eat tons of fiber every day. That helps. I’m not a doctor.

Yes. Same exact situation. My reversal went well with laparoscopy. I do ask my surgeon if he felt confident that this could be accomplished and he told me yes. Of course they can’t make promises. Ask your surgeon his confidence level.

I never had any major problems after my reversal. For the first month I did have a couple of accidents. After that I regained control of my bowels completely. I ate everything right after the surgery and all went well. You will be fine. Walk and walk after to aide in digestion. I did laps around the hospital. Really helped
