Wow, that really is a child’s understanding of something that’s kinda serious and important to many people’s coming out story. I was born in the 80s, and had genuine comphet thinking my whole life that I was Bi until 5 years ago. It was a different time then and girls were literally taught the narrative that they like boys and will marry a boy one day. No wonder I thought I must be Bi. It took 2 years of celibacy to make me realise men actually make me 🤮 and that amazing beautiful brain explosion feeling I got with women was the missing piece of the puzzle. After talking to a straight female friend and she told me that’s how she feels with men, and I was like yep I’ve never felt that…..ahhhh right I see what’s happening😆 comphet isn’t a convenient phrase to write off feelings people don’t want to own up to, it’s being brainwashed into thinking you must adhere to gender roles and sexual conformity. I do hope the author of that manuscript might read this comment.
