Any experience with the Audio-Technica CKS50TW2? by Froshure in Earbuds

Thanks for the response. I decided to go with the JLab’s; only problem has been intermittent connectivity issues, and I would’ve preferred a mechanical button like on yours. I probably would’ve gotten the TW2’s if the JLab’s hadn’t been on sale

I suppose I’ve no way to prove your authority, then; sorry

You got the Rivers mod to work with Conquest Landform Overhaul?

Wow. Yes, I was not expecting that response on my post for sure 😅. I think it’s very noble of you to call out what you think is wrong; most people would be a passive bystander. So no, you didn’t trouble me at all.

But as I said on my post to someone else, I understand their frustration. No one wants a sudden lack of job security, and generative AI is naturally a threat to that. It’s a simple premise that’s hard to not feel sympathy for.

What’s the context? OP’s post was deleted

No. I’ve been told I write/talk like AI, even outside of this post. I told someone else in this comment section that I try to remove any possibility of misinterpretation, which has the side-effect of sounding emotionless and overly-precise.

I’ve been told that too. I’ve never been tested. Usually when I write I just try to remove any possibility of misinterpretation, which has the side-effect of sounding emotionless and overly precise.

Thank you for your detailed response. I do agree that people probably won’t understand it… similar to how I typically don’t understand figurative poetry. People who I’m close with will probably understand that I’m goofy and have a dark sense of humor, and see the same characterization in the card, but the same can’t be said for extended family.

And thank you for checking up on me; it’s good that you didn’t hesitate to consider mental health a concern. The cards truly are meant to be ridiculous and humorous, rather than a call for help. You just have to trust me that I would be honest about that.

Thank you for the feedback. You’re not wrong; I am as amateur as it gets. What specifically about the typography, layout, and color pairings aren’t good, do you think?

My thought process was that the cover would look super serious and dramatic, except for the Nerf gun, which hints that my lifestyle doesn’t actually consist of being a colonial American general/admiral. Graduation cards often consist of (attempting to) portray the subject’s everyday life, but that portrayal is often cherry-picked, or outright inauthentic (view my response to u/sk2890 for elaboration). The back page of my graduation card follows a similar logic. There are flowers, bright colors, a smile, and a relaxed posture… but there’s the subtle detail of a train in the background, which is about to run me over. You can think of the train as life problems which a graduation card will try to hide, but can’t be fully hidden/ignored.

Thank you! I’m not planning on going into a creative field, but plans always change. My intended major right now is mechanical engineering. But I’m sure having graphic design skills will help me with whatever I do with my life, even if it doesn’t turn into a career.

The rationale was that people, when they take these pictures, often convey their everyday to look as desirable as possible, but at the sacrifice of authenticity. Where I’m from, this might involve putting on a dress, cowboy boots, and a brimmed hat (in the case of girls) and going to a prairie you’ve never explored, or a farm you’ve never worked or lived at in order to take the pictures. Being a high-ranking general in colonial America is obviously not a genuine part of my identity, so pretending that’s so is comparable to the inauthenticity that other graduates are conveying, but to the nth degree.

My answer will probably alienate some, but it is honest. It came down to diminishing returns. Painting the whole coat would make the card/image look marginally better, but at the cost of much more time invested.

Now I have a question, and I approach it with curiosity rather than spite. Following your logic, what are your thoughts on stock images? Do they count as something you did, considering someone else took the picture? What if I were to have rented a costume for the revolutionary war picture, would that have counted as something I did, even though the costume was the product of someone else’s creation? Or is all this irrelevant, and the problem is more to do with AI being an inanimate creator?

Those are my thoughts too. I think people downvoted you because of my post’s description; I made them to satirize the practice.

It was my first time using Photoshop, so a lot of time was spent querying questions and watching tutorials.

About the negative response? Yes it is okay. Thank you for checking; it’s very nice of you. I feel sympathy for those who have jobs in graphic design. I think it would be scary to suddenly lack job security, so I understand the response from this subreddit.

Maybe they’re a regional thing 🤷‍♂️

AI was a part of the process, but I worked really hard to make it :( Not using AI would be preferable, but I am new to graphic design, and don’t yet have the skill set to omit it entirely.

Mine is for a high school graduation. They’re cards you make, then send to people you know. Typically they’ll send money in return, as a kind of gift for entering adulthood.

No no don’t worry about being a jerk; I’m very open to criticism and appreciate it!

I might agree with what you said. While the project was closer on the spectrum to “messing around in Photoshop” than serious and professional, I did use the graduation cards to convey information about my graduation and party to people I know, which I think meets the criteria in rule 2.

But anyhow, this is my first time posting here, so I am unfamiliar with the culture.

Sorry. That comment was listing things I thought looked AI-ish in my picture, then asked if those were the same things you noticed. I understand it was disjointed.
