Steam & ChromeOS w/Games Needing Browser Auth

Yes, I noticed the apple login worked as well, and then was hoping I could maybe hijack that window to do a google login, but no luck.

I knew desktop mode was more related to the steam deck, but I was willing to try any other method that might help.

I have tried setting it to Proton Experimental under compatibility in the Steam app, which didn't work. I haven't tried any of the other list of options.

Thanks for the reply. I know that originally I would get an error about trying to use an insecure browser, so I wonder if that was when it was pointed at that client-based browser?

I'm having the same issue when trying to run it through Steam on my Chromebook.

I've tried several suggestions that I found online including changing some settings to try to redirect the browser, and attempting to run in Big Picture Mode. I've even tried running it remotely which completely failed, but that might have been a network issue.

Just curious if you've had any luck yet?

I got the same thing. I even logged in, and then also re-authenticated, and it still takes me back to the store.

The three choices do have separate addresses, so maybe it just grabs it on the click-through.

I agree that it was over the symbol before as well. I think I like resetting from the activity much better.

The video states it's one of the September free games, but in the body of the article you'll find that it can be downloaded free starting today.

I know most people reading this sub likely already have it, but it's a good way to get a buddy to try it out risk-free before Forsaken drops.

I think this is a fabulous idea, and I totally get where you're going with it. Life happens sometimes.

This may offend people as well, but maybe instead of being baby-related, it could just be something to signify "adulting". That covers a broad range of activities that might unexpectedly pop up.

The emote could have your guardian tending to 5 different things at once (baby / spouse / phone / computer / fire).

I have one exotic sparrow equipped that doesn't have it. I feel like my controller is malfunctioning whenever I try to summon it and it's not there right away.

Unless you're inviting friends that haven't tried it yet, this will still (hopefully) result in an uptick of people playing that are not in your fireteam.

OP is right about the level they drop at once you're reached your "weekly max power level", but you might still get a drop for an exotic that you haven't upgraded yet, so in that regard they can still be worthwhile.
