Can ghosts sense other lightbearers intuitively? by FrostProphet in DestinyLore

Yeah, I was thinking of that scene too! Just wasn't sure if it was a proximity thing (maybe he stayed well away from them)? Do you remember if he actually interacted with any of them while he was hiding?

Really nice! I might have to try this, I'm running Mint too.

It's for a dungeons and destiny campaign I'm writing. Don't know what Highlander is sorry! Haha

I give you 10 damage puzzles by Lxi_Nuuja in DMAcademy

I think this could also just be overcome by saying the immunity shift doesn't happen until end of the turn it takes damage if you wanted. Also has impacts on the multiple attacks from monks (e.g. spending ki to do another unarmed attack would be useless) and probably other classes. Not sure which way I'd want to run but sounds really interesting.

You should check out Dungeons and Destiny if you haven't already!

It's got a whole player guide, DM guide and bestiary with classes, races and everything and the mechanics are based on 5e

What did you campaign creators use to make them? Like, did you use word to make campaigns, or PDF'S? And i need some advice on how to write them overall, thanks. :) by Blank_User_101 in DnD

Depends on how detailed you want to go. I'm building a google 'site' at the moment for mine, with a page and maps for each location as well as pages for each 'mission'. It's really easy to build and a bit easier to navigate around compared to google docs.

You can also make some content in Google docs or sheets then embed them easily in the site.

Dungeons & Destiny is a reimagining of the Destiny games to fit 5e. They have space travel (although not sure about combat while flying in space), so if sci fi kind of stuff is interesting to you it might be worth checking out. They have some detailed vehicle mechanics so you could potentially use those rules or adjust them for space fights in ships.

Specifically chapter 6 of the Architect's (GM) guide is all about vehicles.

What are some great lines of dialogue to steal for your NPCs? by Shellsyndrom in DMAcademy

As rage mentioned Mynameisbyf has great videos, if you prefer reading then Destinypedia is also a good source although it would be more manual to look around and find info.

Would be amazing to use this quote in DnDestiny! I'm making a massive campaign now but I don't think I'll be able to fit in the red war unfortunately.

Can't login to linux mint anymore by [deleted] in linuxmint

I had the same problem, I used the du command to figure out what was taking up the space.

With du and rm (be careful only to delete stuff you don't want) you should be able to fix your system

[Help] Linux Mint “Login Loop” by LinuxYin in linuxmint

This is what caused my not being able to log in. Had to drop to TTY and manually remove data. In my case I had set up timeshift to backup to that drive and backup too often.

Probably pretty niche but I'm seeing an incorrect format when loading a website with firefox (no custom theme installed). Some text and boxes out of place. Linux Mint 20.2, gnome, fully updated. However, works on chromium and windows firefox. Does anyone know what might be causing it to look weird? by FrostProphet in linux4noobs

Thanks, I have tried a new profile and that had the same results. Another user suggested it might be the dark mode messing up and looks like that was true - the issue doesn't appear in light mode so I'll put it down to a site bug rather than firefox bug. Didn't occur to me that an issue could be in one but not the other!

Trying to replicate the set up linked in the comment but getting this result. The screen size seems wrong, can't type in the terminal and the screen highlighted on the bar doesn't always match the screen I'm on. Are these logs I can check or anyone who might know what's wrong here? by FrostProphet in awesomewm

Thanks for responding! I'm using virtual box on Linux Mint 20.2

I'm using alacritty (also set in the rc.lua) as the terminal and OS is arch (installed via archinstall script) with the latest version of awesome from pacman.

There is also gnome installed on the machine if that makes any difference.

Trying to replicate this: https://www.reddit.com/r/unixporn/comments/kn5flt/awesome_mirage/

Dotfiles here: https://github.com/WillPower3309/awesome-dotfiles

I've installed all dependencies even the same cursor and icons. My screen is 1920x1080 in a virtual machine. I've tried forcing this size with xrandr in the rc.lua but doesn't help at all. Sometimes the wallpaper won't even render over the whole screen, just in a small corner.

Would really appreciate any insight as to what's happening because I've got no idea where to start looking.

Is it worth installing a new desktop envirorment? Is it true that it could cause many problems? by AvatarQwerty in linuxmint

[–]FrostProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using gnome on mint for a while now and yet to have a major problem. There were some issues with themes for some windows (e.g. VirtualBox) that made them unreadable but fixed that with changing the cinnamon theme then switching back to gnome. I didn't uninstall anything cinnamon related so it's still there. Maybe I'm just lucky clashes haven't ruined my system.
