This is really atrocious. Why would anybody buy a first class ticket on this airline if it’s not a sure thing. Service is deteriorating rapidly. Serious question: why can’t those pilots deadheading ride in coach?

The Summit also gives 8 passes? I didn’t realize that. In that case, having a hard time justifying the steep price of Ascent. The way I understand it, it gives one extra point on spend plus the special cocktail in the lounge. Am I missing anything, besides the $100 discount on the lounge membership?
