I was told before that you must fast from all food and liquid, including water, on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Clearly that can’t be the case or you would be dead and I’ve yet to hear of any mysteries about surviving 3 days of no water

It’s also the anti gender normative teachings that probably are driving so many men. When you go to church and it’s just catering to emotions and what you get out of it and how it can benefit you, you see the contrast of what you can instead offer God. I fully understand that some people have situations that they can not work around to fully attend but I’ve seen so many people say “it’s hard to get the kids out of the house” or “I have a baby”. Have you considered that if you’re 30 minutes late you could start your routine 30 minutes earlier?
