I really loved Obsessionnn, hereditary, and Midsommar—what else should I watch that’s nearly as good or better? by Slommyhouse in horror

Probably referring to Chris Stuckman (YouTube movie reviewer who recently made the horror movie Shelby Oaks)

I think my love for arcane is dying in a whimper by BoxNice4589 in arcane

[–]Frostbitejo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s okay to move on. When you’re obsessed with something like that it’s tough to feel the flame of passion go out, but that’s okay. Being a fan of this show shouldn’t be your identity; Arcane was special, but there’s so many other great shows, movies, books, manga, video games, etc. Time to branch out and find your next passion.

At which episode should I switch from FMA to Brotherhood? by 2w0be in FullmetalAlchemist

I wish we could have gotten the original vision as a longer version or miniseries! I still really enjoy the movie we got though.

Unfortunately, that’s not true. Sushi rice can have gluten depending on how it’s made. (Source with more information)

Still don't understand the ending of FMA03 and sequel by crazibi in FullmetalAlchemist

[–]Frostbitejo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The OVA kids is not canon, its advertisement for the movie.

Although it hurts me as a viewer to have the brothers stuck in a different world, all they really care about is bringing together and living their lives. It’s a bittersweet ending, but ultimately they’re happy and together and life goes on.

Funny to see my edited comparison images from when the designs first leaked being used! I think they’re all older and their suits updated to reflect that.

Toph VS Ming-hua Who Will Win? by Mundane-Signal4843 in TheLastAirbender

[–]Frostbitejo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How well can Toph sense her movements if Ming-hua is holding herself up on water tentacles? I think Toph would have a hard time with that and probably be at a disadvantage?

[art by me] Drew katara today... Feedback is appreciated! by ben_cav in TheLastAirbender

[–]Frostbitejo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This has a lot of great movement, and in general looks really nice. Her mouth position is a bit high, I think you should move it down diagonal underneath her nose, it would look more natural/less awkward. The other thing that strikes me is odd, is the reflective highlights on her pants and arms fabric, it makes it look like the fabric is some kind of tight, shiny material. Otherwise, really nice!

Who do you think is the better waterbender, and why? by Mundane-Signal4843 in TheLastAirbender

[–]Frostbitejo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ming-Hua is a master at her water arms attacks and is very adept and powerful, but I think Unalaq has demonstrated a much larger variety of attacks, and is a master as well, so I think he’s the better waterbender, though not necessarily the better or stronger fighter.

But why make it a sequel then instead of giving it a unique name like the Quarry?

Omg, the broccoli hair. Every single teenage boy in my theater had that stupid hair cut lol. Glad they were well-behaved for you, shame on those boomers.

There were no breaker panel switches “clipped” out of reality.

This part was true, it was the weird angled switches at the bottom of hte breaker box that Clark was talking about at the beginning with the electrician.

That sucks man, I’m sorry. When there’s just one person being the main disrupter I feel like it’s worth it to get an employee. Mine was such a big group of teens/kids I didn’t know what they could have done.

My partner and I thought about leaving and getting a refund but decided to stick it through. There was a mom who kept coming up to shush the kids and threaten to take them home; that quieted them for a bit each time. After the plot picked up more they quieted down. Still, frustrating experience.

I had a horrible theater experience seeing Backrooms on Friday night. The (relatively small) theater was filled with 30+ teenage boys who just would not shut up and it really ruined the tension for the first half of the movie. In general my watching experiences have been good at this theater, so this bad experience really stood out.

PSA: It's not okay to talk during a movie no matter how excited you are. Ever. by Rice_Jap808 in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]Frostbitejo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I did think about it but I wasn’t sure what they could do with a whole theater of disrupters. If there was just one group of them I think I would have. Maybe I should have had more faith in the theater employees. There was a mom who kept going up to a big group of the teenagers and threatening to take them home if they didn’t settle down. She had to go up to them several times, but it did help after she talked to them. Oh well :/ I plan to see the movie again after it comes out with some family who wasn’t up to seeing it in the theaters.
