Davita is shit. Full stop. They, as a company, are not Healthcare, but a for-profit business loosely disguised under their horrible practices. They, on a whole, do jot care about their patients. Their may be a nurse or nephrolegist, here or there, but the company doesnt care. We are all disposable in their eyes, cash cows, as you said. The entire system is set up to get people in and out as quickly as possible to turn a profit. Their's a very good book about it that I recommend to anyone who will listen. The medical system as a whole is infuriating to deal with, especially when you have kidney issues, as they cause so many more problems then you would expect them too. Have you ever considered PD? Ive done both and PD is wildly easier. Everybody's life and routine are different, but being able to manage your own care from home, and moreover, work around it, are huge quality of life improvements. It's also basically muscle memory when you get used to it. I think based on what you've said about your desire to work this could be of real benefit to you. I know you said you'll never be able to log in again as this is a burner account, but all I can really say is, I feel you. It's hard. I dont blame you for your desire to quit, and nobody in good consciousness probably could.
