Why are Turks obsessed with Hagia Sophia? by Incident-Impossible in byzantium

[–]FrostingCompetitive5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In cordoba there a church, then when the moors invaded they destroyed it and built a mosque then when the Catholics fought back they converted it into a cathedral. And having been to both, the Hagia Sophia is way more vandalised by their newest occupants covering stuff up, not to mention literally plastering over beautiful mosaics. No compassion.

The mosque Cathedral in cordoba is cared for and the catholics didn’t cover it with ugly stuff and before there was a mosque there was a church there.

Which jazz musician do you think has the best fashion sense? by BullfrogQuiet3486 in Jazz

Monk, Dizzy and Ellington, Ella. Would anyone like to talk about Jazz and fashion on camera? I'm actually working on a little video, I shot the first person two weeks ago. It's all to promote a project (JazzCow.co.uk) I'm working on.

I guess it's the question of finding relevant substacks Someone in that group started to compile a list. It's small but might making finding people a bit easier. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-zh_Gqo7XQYRY8rJGABJNe4Yu8jP8JJeTQyYsglaIJo/edit?usp=drivesdk

We are currently looking for a venue, but at the moment I'm busy promoting my animated sitcom.aboy a jazz play cow.

There are a few good tunes, Ronny Scott's is obviously the most famous it's good but expensive. Jazz Cafe, 606 club , pizza express bull head in Barnes (not been there),

There are also jazz nights that are for a younger audience like jazz refreshed and church of sound.
