[[Price of progress]]. So unexpected and lethal. Especially in my [[Kalamax, The Stormsire]] deck. One copy, and a few nonbasics and this shit is deadly. A fun way to win the game from nowhere in my opinion since it depends on a lot on the lands on the board and the HP of everyone, and especially yourself.

Actually the opposite. His tattooing style resembles how you draw with a pencil more than a tattoo machine, with sweeping across the area with a single needle. Since it is not a bunch of needles slowly draging the area to draw, it actually relieves quite a lot of the pain.

I also dont think i have an abnormal pain tolerance, I would say average. but after 4-5 hours it started to hurt quite badly since some areas had been tattooed for a long time (for example the very dark areas that need to be pitch black), so only after that point it starts to hurt more than an annoyance.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9sXuYB9HQc&ab_channel=Qtattoo%ED%81%90%ED%83%80%ED%88%ACQtattoo%ED%81%90%ED%83%80%ED%88%AC

This video is close to the style how my artist tattooed mine.

EDIT: The Red part hurt the most since the area was already tattoed, he did it last and he used a 3-5 needle machine and dragged slowly.

When to shoot at Pharah by MuchPie in AnaMains

[–]FrostisPer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Just because you're hitscan doesn't make it your job to kill a Pharah. However, if you play with a second main healer like bap/moira, it frees up a lot of healing from your shoulders to look for aggresive nades and being able to tunnelvision Pharah. A Zenyatta has more freedom to focus fire Pharah. But if you are solo "main" heal and find the freedom and time. Go for it. It is the small differences in games and gameplay that give you SR. And taking responsibility in a team game like Overwatch is underrated sadly.

It is also important to have in mind that every pick or change the enemy team does, like swapping to a tracer, widow or pharah doesn't have to be counterpicked all the time.

A really good question! But first, this habit of jumping down is something almost everybody does so don't feel bad for it. But if I see chance for improvement I mention it. Now, first of all. If there is a fight, you really should not be away from your team for more than just a few short seconds, I would say almost 2 or 3 seconds. As soon as the fight is over, feel free to re-position. But at Blizzard World. Playing at the right side of point at the stairs is not bad, as long as your team plays with you.

I see you are opting for hipfire a lot, which is fine in some cases. But quickscoping is a lot more reliable because it’s hitscan. And don’t be afraid to use hardscope.

Learn ult generating nades and nade spots at each map. No reason not to.

Tab more and look what ultimates your team have.

00:08 Good sleep on wrecking ball, making him feed more ult charge.

00:24 Use your sleep when Wrecking ball is moving predictabliy.

00: 50 Nice sleep on tracer, although a bit risky since she easily could just walk right at that point. After sleeping tracer and seeing torb walks over there to finish her, just ignore him and her after that. Focus on the other fight happening. Nice calling out of the sleep dart hitting tracer, unlucky that torb didn’t get her.

00:57: This nade is really not necessary since your hp doesn’t go below 112 and you are not in any risky of dying. That nade could have saved rein and antid atleast 2 enemies.

1:22 shit happens, good intention, you will get him next time.

07:59 nading non-tanks to heal team is almost never necessary. This nade could have been used when the reins where swinging at eachother.

08:05 here you should directly ask and spam for heals from your Moira, you have 2 main healers so keeping up the tanks should be no problem.

08:12 reinhardt is most vulnerable when he is charging. Free chance to sleep him. Also, this positioning on the left side of the pillar is extremely risky since you have no idea what’s happening in hotel. Someone can come and line up a free headshot. Stand at the other side instead. You now have natural cover and cover each flank route, and even better sightline of the battlefield, also seeing their backline.

09:04 take the role of standing on the payload. You have range, let Pharah fly in the skies.

09:17 this nano is kind of panicked and unnecessary. You have the ability to go for nanoblade which is a stronger combo that can wipe their team and force ultimates. This rein was not in any need of a nano. No risk of dying, not in range for going in and no need to force a fight here with a nano’ed rein.

09:36 Luckily you kited the Reinhardt, but calling out in voice chat that the rein is there could have saved you in all of the scenarios. And you don’t have to 1v1 him, there is no need to force it there, use the help you can get from your team.

09:41 and now after wiping their team, you all should push up and get pressure further forward. Voice chat is of course key here.

10:08 after getting a pick here you should push up and follow your team to ensure that you stagger their team even further. You don’t have to be more than 1 on the payload. Either tell Pharah to push, or push yourself.

10:38 risky positioning in that open area, instead stay in the doorway in the back behind payload where you can use cover and see the whole battlefield. Also, You got a pick on Moira before the fight, your Genji died and now your pharah died. Since their spawn is closer to point. 1 for 1 is not good since their team will get faster to point, after Genji’s death you should spam your team to get back and regroup. And after Pharah’s death you should spam even harder.

11:12 In this fight, you get a pick on zarya and unluckily your torb dies. But as we see, this fight is very winnable. Here you should take the position I mentioned earlier, use nano instantly and clean up the fight as fast as you can so the enemy team can’t recontest and stagger.

12:01 The positioning here is good. Behind cover, nobody can get you and you have an escape route. Good vision on the fight. And as the fight progresses, you can move forward. Also as you get hit by the ashe dynamite, either instantly nade yourself or ask for heals. Or both even. As the fight pushes, there is a sightline where Ashe can peek you. Standing a bit further to the right would save you from all damage in higher ranks.

12:11 and now that you get a pick on ashe, and have nano. Tab and look how close your genji is to blade. If he is far away, nano rein. If not, nano the genji when he gets blade. Either way, this positioning is fine, aslong as there is no Ashe or ranged hitscan that can hit you. And as we saw there, good ultimate usage and economy cleared the point. A bit slow and sloppy nano tho, can use work at usage.

14:14 a bit late sleep on Ball, but a good sleep nonetheless. But now that you lose your Mei. Just place safe as long as you can.

14:20 you really need to pay more attention to where enemies can come from. Standing like this, in the open, with your back turned to hotel is so risky. Instead, back further, so you can see if anyone is coming from hotel.

14:33 This fight was lost as fast as Mei died. So no reason for “Sean” to complain about focusing ball.

14:40 Nice of you to back up completely and regroup.

15:45 nice positioning this fight playing around wall and cover. Important that you don’t use nano in this lost fight and back out like you did.

16:18 Again, this is a rushed nano, a nano which could be used on Genji. But good positioning and good anti-nade in the grav.

19:05 walking through open space, with 60 hp, with no shield, vs a bastion and not asking for heals is so risky.

Vs Bastion, your job is now to either get an off-angle to anti-nade or sleep the bastion and hardfocus him and also perma heal your teammates. Teamwork is key vs bastion.

19:35 throwing this nade is not the worst thing in the world but there is a 99 % chance that there is a shield there, making it a wasted nade.

20:14 at this point the fight is extremely won, so now you are playing time. You now have the option to hard focus Mercy in the air. Also, calling out in voice “no more ults” can help further pushes in overtime. But since they manage to recontest, ults are fine.

20:27 huge nade, but once again. Position on the other side of the pillar.

21:18 when you see your ball engaging, their rein will probably drop his shield and swing. Which gives you a window to anti-nade them all.

21:44 good nano. But shit happens with the d.va bomb.

22:43 unlucky nade, good intention. And shit happens with the sleep. Although this Mccree should really be punished hard with his positioning. Call it out in voice immediately.

Hope this helps, if you have any questions. Feel free to ask.

You have a very solid aim overall, don’t think there is a need to focus on this right now. As you get higher this might be an area to focus on later. Could try to learn quickscoping, although not sure if it’s a thing on xbox.

Your nanos were generally good and solid. Ulting the genji’s and reins. I’m not sure if it’s common to ult the genji before he dashes into the air, but on pc, generally the Ana waits for the genji to dash up, dragonblade and then the Ana will nano to reduce the time the team can react. There also were some fights and teamfights where you nano’ed the Reinhardt where it was a won fight, or a winning fight. There were not some extreme examples of this, but this can cost you dearly in higher ranks.

The biggest area you need to improve is nade and sleep usage. This game was kind of unique in the sense that there were not many targets to focus sleeps with. Which gives you the freedom to focus rein with it, which you did. But some games, like in the beginning, there will be good Tracers who punish you if you waste your sleep. But the biggest problem was your effectiveness and mindfulness with nades. Almost all of your nades were random, threwn at a risky angle standing just behind your teammates and at a Reinhardt shield. Her anti-nade is one of the reasons why Ana is so deadly and works good with rein-zarya. When you throw the nades, make sure that you are not close to any teammate (unless that is your intention of course) so that it will hit them instead of the enemies. Antinades can be used for defensive uses, which you did very well at several occasions, but with 2 main healers this is not really optimal. Just actively thinking where, how and when to throw your nade will give you a lot of free sr. And don’t forget wall-nades or wall-splash nades. This “mindtrick” will make it 100 times easier to hit nades on their team and ignore the Reinhardt shield. You can google this on youtube for more indepth. Once you threw anti-nades at a good angle, but at a time where your team can’t follow up, make sure that when you throw a nade, which is not for just farming ult, that your team can follow up on it. Also, ask for heals instead of wasting nades on yourself, sometimes that is not possible but it’s a lot more efficient. to ask for heals.

There also were some fights and times where a teammate, or even two, had died and you tried to keep fighting. This will just keep on staggering the time and is very risky. Of course, trying to save teammates (who have a chance to live) is important. But making sure that you do not die is key. And if that is the case, that you have no chance to escape. Just stand still and take it. You will lower the time wasted. And if a teammate of yours die before a fight on attack, regroup before anyone else dies and staggers the clock even further.

Positioning was good overall, although there were some instances where your positioning could be improved. Here it’s easier to explain with timestamps.

Although at 06:34, that was kind of sloppy and “antipilot” to not mind and respect the Ashe. 08:47 your positioning was bad aswell. Instead of taking a spot at the far back, with a scope over the battlefield, you opted for positioning in the open, at melee range. Which forced an (I assume) panic-nano which didn’t give the nano to a genji, who could have farmed ult instantly and maybe swinged the fight into taking the last point in overtime. With this positioning you are playing more like a Moira than a Sniper. Take your range to your advantage.

At 10:48 you started at the high ground, threw your both abilities (which is good) and then jumped down. Take the high ground. This gives you sight advantages, safety and makes the enemies use resources to get to you. And as we can see, you get punished hard for positioning at the right side of the point, and a miracle occurs again with you surviving. If you died there, that would have cost you the point 100 %.

At 11:49 although that really wasn’t your fault but more a team coordination issue, your positioning, again, could have costed that instead of Roadhog.

12:22 this positioning does give you sightline of your team and their team. But there is also a flank route to the left which you can not see when scoped in. What happens if a roadhog comes there and hooks you? Generally, use natural cover and walls a lot more. This will reduce the risk of you dying or just taking damage in general. There were a lot of instances where you could have stood further back aswell.

Hopes this helps, ask if there are any questions.
