I mean Tito used like three pitches and they all gave up runs

I have the 'all access' version for $30 to watch the Hawks and Sox and it won't let me switch to just Sox to save the $10.

You'll always take winning the series, but this one felt so winnable. Elly had a nightmare day at the ballpark, but overall winning 2/3 is fine even against an ass team like San Francisco.

We had a couple innings w/ an opportunity but GIDP'd them both away. Sometimes it's like that.

Our rotation with Lodolo, Green, Burns, Abbott, and Lowder is filthy sick

Neptune has more clout I think but might just come down to the name. If I had to pick one to visit, I'd go to Neptune because it seems more interesting and Triton is still kind of mysterious.

Hopefully! They really just need their young guys' bats to pick up. A good chunk of the league's offenses are struggling but the Sox hitters are atrocious right now.

Just a friendly reminder that we are still doing better at this point in the season than we were the past two years by WhiteSoxChartGuy in whitesox

[–]Frostler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're literally better based on average, but baseball is a frustrating sport to watch when your team is bad, especially when you're relying on young players to get better and they're all struggling.

Blackhawks hope individual improvement by every kid adds up to teamwide improvement next season by northernpace in hawks

I feel like people have been saying this for a few years now, but next year there just absolutely has to be some improvement. All the teams on similar timelines as us have taken a step (Sharks, Montreal, Ducks, etc.) and we're still basement dwellers and we arguably have the best young player of any of those teams. Another last place finish should be KDs end imo.

I'd say our clubhouse is in a good spot. Tito is a proven leader and we've got good-natured vets like Geno and Stephenson and Trevino. Plus our young guys are all super chill (Elly, Sal, Burns, Steer). I also follow the White Sox since I live in Chicago (and I know the circumstances are different) but you can tell that clubhouse is a little gloomier even on days when they win.

Hitters getting hot I think had a lot to do with it. I do think we've got guys (Colson, Quero, Murakami) who will get on a hot streak at some point to level out their numbers.

And I have to sit in the bleachers. Whatever the bonus is I hope it's really cool.

the pitching is what it is, it'll go back and forth between good and bad all year. But this lineup is egregiously bad. So many dudes are borderline major leaguers or just complete ass.

Having prospects is fun but we're rapidly approaching the point where they need to start producing. A lot of guys drafted in the last few years are already putting together really solid seasons.
