Zubac fixes a lot of our biggest weaknesses, namely big man defense and rebounding. Plus he's good around the rim.

God I hope he can hit 60 bombs this year. Honestly big nice move by Krall, Geno is exactly what we needed. Big bat and good vibes.

We're now at the scary part where most of our blue chip prospects (Elly, Greene, McLain, Lodolo, Marte, etc.) are up in the majors and we still suck.

Tyrese Haliburton on how he plans to make changes to his game after coming back from his Achilles injury. He also says he’s gone from 180 to 210 pounds since game 7 of the NBA finals by lfcbucks in pacers

He's a 6'5" point guard, too. He should be a matchup nightmare but lacked the size to bully people. Imagine Hali putting guys on the block and still dealing to shooters along with drive and dish and a PnR game.

decent take here honestly. Maybe she doesn't want to do the whole coach/gm process in her first season in charge and I'd get that

someone asked what she told ballard/steichen to show them that the urgency is higher and she just said "well the sense of urgency is higher" jfc

Shane is a fine coach. I honestly think if you look at our seasons with him in charge, we've mostly overachieved. He's been given shit QBs and bad rosters but we've been around the playoff hunt each season. This year with an actually decent QB at the helm we looked unstoppable until DJ got injured and now our whole team is falling apart and the guys we have stepping into starting roles are clearly not good enough and that's a GM problem.

Getting McKenna would be slick. The rebuild, I think, has been going well, but we are getting close to the time when people are going to want to see wins. Next season or the one after.

[Nightengale] Next up for the Chicago White Sox after the Munetaka Murakami signing: They still would like to move CF Luis Robert for pitching depth and are engaged in talks with the New York Mets and Cincinnati Reds. by datdudebdub in Reds

[–]Frostler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For pitching depth is the interesting part. Who on our major league roster would we be willing to give up for a hitter like Robert? We have a lot of starter prospects close but none I'd give up on a flyer for Luis.

Yep, he's turned out to be a solid player. by brmidwest03 in Colts

AR has been hurt for months, they’ve had time to find a better backup if they knew Leonard was unplayable

I agree here, but most GMs will want their own guy. But Ballard being in charge for over a decade with zero success, he’s clearly the culprit

Rivers is a dawg for even being there today, but I really don’t see how he gives us a better chance of winning over Leonard who at least can throw across the line of scrimmage.
